You know a place is good when you plan your next visit before the meal is over. Lol!!! I ordered the shrimp scampi with scallops.
Had a good time! Happy hour is before 6p, and the glasses are half off (small pour). The service was awesome and everyone was so friendly. It is recommended to book a reservation cause it fills up after 6p. I had the special lobster bisque and it was so good! Server offered bread and it was so good and warm. The calamari was awesome! My wife ordered a pasta dish and it was delicious!

I was getting some work done at the coffee shop next door but when they closed, I decided it was wine o’clock.
I came in around 5pm on a Friday evening and only a few tables were occupied. It didn’t matter either way for me because I was solo and I like sitting at the bar.
Speaking of the bar, the left side has lower seating. It seemed more people preferred the higher seating on the right so keep that in mind. They filled pretty quickly. In fact, the place began filling up around 6-630. Make reservations.
The interior is beautiful. Very clean and well appointed. Much more than I expected from a strip mall place that really doesn’t give much curb appeal. It’s somewhere between upscale wine bar and casual eatery.
From what I hear, they’ve only been open 3 years but have a lot of repeat customers. It’s a family business and Bill and his family are lovely. They make a point to ask everyones names and have conversations. The family are travelers, having previously lived in Haiti. I naturally gravitate toward people who are worldly. It probably attributes to their empathetic, nature.
I’ll definitely return!

We came here last weekend at the recommendation of a friend. We had an exquisite evening from the beginning to end. There were 4 of us. We ordered wine, appetizers, their specials and desserts. Everything was amazing. Service was attentive and just right.
A bit cozy

Nice high-end clean interior, and hard working pleasant server despite being short handed that evening. Food was very good. I am fond of Brussel sprouts so that went over well with me, although my wife found it to be a little heavy handed with the vinegar. Nice large bacon bits added to the flavor. I believe the however wine is overpriced by the glass, ($12 small pour) but an otherwise nice restaurant and enjoyable couples environment.

Had such a lovely family dinner here Friday night!
We were there quite early but the place filled up very quickly so I think you definitely would want to make a reservation if possible.
The octopus starter was amazing! So tender and perfectly seasoned. Same for the calamari. Highly recommend those two!
The chicken piccata was also so delicious. Really enjoyed it!
The server “Sam” was so helpful and nice! My son kept asking him how he caught the octopus and he played along with the whole story which was very kind!
Looking forward to next time already!

Always a great time at Bacaro. Service is always top notch and I’m happy to support a local small business. Hostess, server, and even the cook checked on us to make sure we were taken care of and having a good time. Food A+. Experience was even better.

We live in Fort Worth, yet were in town for the weekend soccer conference at the Omni. Found this place on OpenTable. We're immediately shown to our seats. This place has a very solid wine menu at very decent prices. Everything was incredible: the meatballs, calamari, Tuta di Maré, flounder special, and shared three desserts. Two solid bottles of wine... a Barbaresco and Brunello. Service was absolutely incredible. If this place was down the street, we would probably be broke. This is truly a gem in the Memorial area. Really impressed with the food
