This place was a great quick stop while my waiting on a doctors appointment! The atmosphere is very unique and the friendliness of the staff was amazing and very genuine and sincere, I almost felt at home! I had a beef hot dog and let me tell you it was well worth the value for it! I loved that the condiments where not added to the hot dog so I could build it myself and not deal with having to much or to little! Absolutely great idea! Will definitely be back to try some dessert that I was to full to get this time around.
I took my granddaughters there because they like this place. We had the sliders, Mac and cheese from the kid's menu, and I had the falafel salad. The burger patties are made out of fresh lean ground beef, and they have a good flavor and cooked just right. The mac n cheese looks like it's from the box, but my granddaughters liked it, and the portion is really big, enough for 2 kids. The French fries appetizer is HUGE, and the fries are good. The Falafel Salad is good, the falafel have a good flavor and are not dry and over cooked. The salad dressing on the salad is very very heavy though, it would have been nice if it had less dressing because everything was drenched in dressing. The salad has olives in it, feta cheese, grape tomatoes, red onion, carrots, and it was good. The dressing has a good flavor. It is served in a wheat tortilla shell. They don't have sweet tea, but they do have sweeteners at the tables. Dogs are allowed here. They have a Foosball table outside, to play a you wait for food. The waiter was really nice and did a good job serving us. We didn't have to wait too long for our food, and it was hot when we got it. We did have to wait about 15 minutes for an outdoors seat. The parking along the street is free but limited. Overall, this is a nice place to go have lunch, the menu has a variety of options. Sitting outside on an overcast cool day was really nice! I DO recommend this place.

I’ve got to tell you, Barnaby’s Cafe was so good for breakfast!! I was worried I was going to get the wrong thing for breakfast and I went with my instinct and got the Hash n Eggs ???? casserole. We got there right before lunch time, as they were switching up the menus which was a bonus, that they let us get breakfast!! Thanks! Oh and the orange juice is fresh squeezed, they guy did say it did have pulp, but it can barely be tasted in your drink so for my OJ drinkers out there, do not fear! When that hash came out and I tasted it, I fell in love with was the eggs. They were so fluffy and cheesy(I added Monterey Jack) and then with the potatoes and a bit of hash in one bite. The dish did not disappoint! We’re from SA but when we come back to H-Town, this place is my to-go spot for breakfast now!

Our waiter Grayson was amazing, he was by far the best waiter I've had in a long time! Thr food came out quickly, orders were right, and he anticipated our needs throughout the meal. It was out first time visiting and we will definitely be back!

Great food and amazing staff!
Their kabobs are great, but their salad bar is full of great options as well, my wife and I each got 3 different sides so we could share and compare. The staff is very friendly and the location is very clean.
Parking! If you do not see any parking spaces on the first level do not let that discourage you as you can go past the gate to the higher levels and the restaurant will validate it for you!

Vibe- Super colorful and vibrant! There’s plenty of seating indoors and outdoors; there’s also a bar area.
Customer service- Great!
Food/drinks- There’s a variety of food and drink items; there’s a selection of plant-based burgers which is right up my alley!
On my first visit I ordered the CHIPOTLE BLACK BEAN BURGER + a STRAWBERRY MIMOSA (the chipotle sauce was my favorite on the burger)
Parking- There’s a parking garage next door; free parking on the 1st floor and validation for the upper floors.
Other info- This location only serves breakfast on Saturday and Sundays; 8am-12pm.
Check them out the next time you’re in the Museum District!

The portion sizes are insane! The fries served with the hamburger were overflowing on the plate and looked like a full bag of french fries. The meat was dry and over cooked. The salad was enough to feed 3 people. The carrot cake was a huge piece. The appetizer, Asian wings, were a tad over cooked. It was just too much food. We left over half the food there. Consider sharing if you visit. The restaurant was clean and inviting. It had a good vibe. Our waiter was friendly and provided good service.

Amazing food in terms of taste, flavor, and portions, great service. And the best thing that I saw was the efforts to be environmentally conscious, with regard to the to-go, take home containers they gave out(reusable, or 100% compostable) not to mention the to go bags that are also compostable. All in all I greatly enjoyed my experience, and hope that more restaurants will follow their lead.

I love the no-frills atmosphere of this place. All staff were friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and there were quite a few options for the whole family. Wife was happy she had the option of a lettuce bun for her burger and she loved the wine menu. They have beer too. Oh, and don't forget the dessert!
