I just wanted a baked potato. It cost me $8.50. It had a sprinkle of bacon bits, a sprinkle of cheese and definitely not seasoned. Also, why do restaurants advertise that chives are in a dish when it's clearly green onion. The restaurant was dark, dingy and had not been updated in at least 20 years. This place might have been a gem back in the day but not today.

Had the Beef Brisket Po’ Boy and fries. Brisket was good, sauce not so much. Fries were fresh cut and decent. Good amount of food. The low rating comes from the cleanliness. This place is filthy. Animal mounts above food line haven’t been cleaned in years. Everything is sticky, seats, tables, serving trays, door handle. Styrofoam drink cups smelled like they were from a cigarette shop. Couldn’t power through the smell so wasted money. Second cup from a different pile same thing. I will not return.

I’m aware Covid and now inflation changed a lot for everyone and I’ve taken that into consideration.
Not smelling smoke let me know what I was getting into when I parked. But still, I trudged on.
The lighting is dark, the restaurant smells like my grandmother’s house, which was very confusing to me, however, the staff was wonderful.
Had a three meat plate. The sausage was dry and reminded me of the ones you’d get in a bag at the corner store. The brisket was cold, and the ribs were a few days old.
For the $15 I spent, it’ll do, I just wouldn’t go out of my way.

Had the chef salad with brisket. Brisket had good flavor but the salad was wilted. Good company makes a difference when eating! Good sweet potato pie!

To set the mood my visit was at 2:30 on a Monday afternoon. There was only one other customer in the restaurant eating. I ordered the chicken dinner that includes 2 side dishes. I ordered green beans and potato salad, my drink was a Coke. The bill came out to $13.21.
I usually get chicken at my first visit to a new to me BBQ restaurant to get a comparison. It was bland at best and dry, the BBQ sauce that was poured on top of it reminds me of the extra suace from a can of baked beans. The green beans had to be straight from a can of DelMonte with no seasoning. The potato salad was probably the best part of my meal.
As a rule I normally tip at %20, today I did not. Would I recommend this place to friends or family? No I would not.

Stopped by here to pick up some food. Service was courteous and fast. Got a loaded baked potato with beef, a beef sandwich and baked beans. There was plenty of meat with both dishes. It was good comfort food!

This is my first time here. It wasnt really pack at the time I came but I decided to try thier Super Spud bake potatoe. Its really big and the guy packed it up with chopped beef. They ask me if I wanted sweet or spicey bbq sauce. I choose spicey because I like spicey on my food. Place looks vintage and its calm. I would come here agai to try other food items on the menue. #TrueRating Please Like and Share
