Adorable spot! I had a blood orange margarita with Grand Marnier, brussel sprouts, and a frose. Clean your lense because you can't help but take pics!
We decided to come here for Houston restaurant week after stumbling upon the brasserie by chance. We've been to other common bond locations for coffee and pastries but we had no idea they had a restaurant too! We're big fans of common bond so we knew the flavors would probably be great. Spoiler alert, it did not disappoint.
To be honest the whole reason we wanted to come back for restaurant week was to try their dessert, the blueberry lavender cheesecake, which is a restaurant week only item.
For apps, we ordered the octopus and the asparagus. I would definitely recommend the octopus. It was packed with flavor and a good variety of textures. For our entrees we ordered the lamb and raviolo. The lamb was our favorite. And of course for dessert we both got the blueberry lavender cheesecake and it was totally worth coming here just for that alone. I need it to be a regular item. It was so light, refreshing, and creamy.

Cute spot in downtown Houston. Actually a great location for lunch and afterwards, sitting out in the mezzanine area.
We started with mimosas, I had the traditional and my daughter had the hibiscus. Let's say we agreed to disagree. She didn't like mine and I didn't like hers , lol
They had some nice choices for apps but we decided on the Brussel sprouts, yumm! They were really good.
Shrimp po boy- deep fried and tasty
Banh mi pork sandwich was good. I loved the bread. So filling though...
Service was friendly and attentive. We would definitely return. Lots of good options on the menu I'd like to try.

This was my second time, celebrating my good friends bday this time. Both times the atmosphere was beautiful and staff was friendly. First time I wasn’t too impressed with the food, I had the lamb chops, barely had any meat, with different sides and appetizers, crème brûlée and macarons were good. I will have to say this time, the food was better. I got the smoked duck rillettes, seared scallops that came on top of lemon herb risotto, oyster mushrooms, braised leeks, brown butter sauce, both were delicious!!! The passion mango chocolate bar was pretty good. Again, service was great!

I was skeptical at first, but very pleased with the food and drinks. The corn chowder was bland but everything else was delicious! Allegedly the kitchen lost our ticket, so it took 30 mins to get our food. We also stopped on the way out and purchased some bakery items. I will go back.

Had dinner here and it was wonderful! The service was great and everything ordered by our party of 4 was delicious. The raw oysters were an awesome start to the meal. I am glad we trusted the reviews and chose this for dinner. Highly recommend!

This place is stunning. I can’t wait to go back with my girlfriends. I took my daughter tonight before the ballet, and it was the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat before the show. The food and drinks were delicious, and our leftovers were boxed up nicely. Every staff member we interacted with was so friendly and helpful. Skylar waited on us this evening, and she was great. Thank you for a lovely evening, Common Bond. I look forward to returning soon!

Very nice, quiet and intimate setting here. Food was good and customer service was great. The portions are normally a lot bigger but ours look smaller because we split the salad and main dish. Our waitress was so kind to have the portions split without being asked to do so. The only disappointment was the Crème Brûlée because it had no flavor and there was no cracking of the top shell. Overall it was great food.

We came here for dinner with friends. We usually go to the bistro in the heights, but found this location to be aesthetically pleasing in photos. The sharable starters like the flat breads are only available during happy hour. We got a few side items as appetizers. They have the crispy brussel sprouts at all locations. They have a caramelized glaze on them that can make anyone like brussel sprouts. Another hit was the spinach and artichoke pot pie. It was amazing! I would skip the fried cauliflower, it's basically just cauliflower nothing special, just a vehicle for sauce. For main meals I would recommend the lemon butter roasted chicken over the rack of lamb. Both were good, but the chicken was better because it came with garlic bread pudding. If you want something on the lighter side the apple and potato bisque was pretty good too.

We had lunch reservations for 6. One guest arrived well before the others and was attended to wonderfully. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and tasted fabulous. There was a bit of a crowd so the manager, Jamie, let us know our food was coming and apologized for the wait. Our server was friendly and attended to our every need. I had the steak salad which was the epiphany of tasty health food and more steak than I could eat with one sitting. The combination of flavors was a party in my mouth. I would have prefered a little more horseradish in the dressing but my friend found it perfect. She had the salad with shrimp and her prongs were cooked beautifully. The bakery is insane! You can't go wrong with the monster sized cookies. We will be back for happy hour and this may be a new regular spot.
