Had the pleasure of meeting the owner she came out and sit with us and we talked about Louisiana seafood for a while. What a wonderful little spot I’m glad I found it. It’s difficult when you live in Texas and you’re from Louisiana and you go to someplace that claims to be able to cook Cajun food and no one in the kitchen has ever even been to Louisiana. This food reminded me of home. And that’s all I can ask for. If you’re looking for something authentic to taste delicious and it’s reasonably priced, this is your spot.
The food is incredible delicious. They also give you quite a bit as well. Had to get a couple of to go boxes.

Connie's was great. It was lunch time on a Sunday, so it was very busy. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very good and friendly. The food came out fairly quick despite every table being taken and on a wait. I will be visiting this place regularly.

As a native houstonian, I grew up coming to this place. Here recently on my last and final visit, I was extremely disappointed. Service was horrible and lacking. Management did not care to here our complaints. No sympathy or empathy was given. We ended up walking out. Truly an embarrassment… I’ll be going to Mambos from here on out!!!

Pretty action packed on the weekends, but no wait. Great service! The fried fish is probably the best I have ever had, for the price. Fried shrimp is excellent! Fried rice is superb! Can't go wrong at Connie's. The stuffed crab, I would rate a 2. I will pass on that! They have a security guard on duty!

I got the fish and shrimp. The shrimp was great, the fish was the best I've tasted in a LONG time, buttery, fresh. My husband isnt even a seafood fan and he LOVED the fish. I can't wait to come back!

this place used to be good whenever the vietnamese lady “connie” used to be there.
she took pride in her food, but now this place is awful.. just look at my so called fried fish and rice.. the fish was super over cooked and the rice was drenched with grease..

Good food. Enjoyed the fried calamari, and the oysters. Rice was pretty good, portions were large, service was adequate. Place was different than what I expected. More Latino than their Google listing would lead one to believe. All the earmarks of a good Mexican restaurant, but, they don't have flour tortillas (?). We had takeout, which was ready right on time. She said 20 minutes, and, by God, it was ready in 20 minutes. Would go back...

Good basic lunch spot (could be dinner too). Quick, attentive, friendly staff. Popular at lunch. The sea bass was tasty and cooked well. The shrimp fried rice was great. The salad could be better, it was just a few pieces of iceberg lettuce and a tomato on top. Reminded me of burger toppings more than a salad. I would come back and try more dishes.

DELICIOUS!!! First time there. Place was packed and after I started eating I knew why. Bass fish fillet is moist and flavorful. Calamari cooked to perfection and shrimp where great.

It has been a while since I last came to try Connie's and the location I went to was on Long Point. Well I am very satisfied with their food, it has so much flavor and it's just overall fresh and delicious. The service was good, out waitress was very attentive. The place could use better seating and aesthetic but don't let it fool you, food is great.
