I got some ribs with other food but the ribs weren’t good. I only took 1 bite from the ribs. They took my plate and I proceeded to see the most sketchiest thing I ever seen. They threw the food in the trash can but they got the unfinished ribs and put them in white bucket behind the trash can. Why would they put just the ribs in the bucket? I waited and I saw them do it again with someone else’s plate. I don’t know what they could be doing but I’m assuming they reusing food. I will not be coming back

Came in on a Wednesday around 7pm. I want my money back!!!! Food so dried up! Waitress was so kind.

This was very bad. I have visited many all-you-can-eat restaurants, and this is the worst so far on my list. I didn't like anything here: the interior was depressing and outdated, air is smelly, but what is more important - the food was bad. Eel sushi that I tried were stinky like the fish was from a swampy lake. Salmon on sushi was also kind of tasteless. Chicken meat was tasteless unless it was covered with sauce. Sweet jelly had a strong taste of petrol. Even the tap water that they gave us had some smell of pipes or sediments, i.e. it was clean, but I didn't like how it tasted.
Basically, it looked to me like a low-quality restaurant. However, the bill at the end didn't look so low-quality. For instance, my 6-year old was charged $10. While adults were charged something like $18. For this kind of food?? No, never again.

The food was fine but when we were finished we couldn’t get the attention of the waitress for nearly 15 minutes. We decided just just stand up and wait, that worked. She came with our bill and kept her hand on the top of the bill and leaned over with me as I filled it out. It was $36 and some change, I left a $2 tip bc she couldn’t be bothered to check on us. She says “you no leave me tip!?!” I said that I did leave you a tip, turned and walked out. I’ve been here probably a dozen times but I doubt I go back.

Food is eh... definitely not $17 worth. My bil over paid his portion cash enough for our tip. We paid card, waitress stood over me while I signed. Then asked for a tip. I said "bil left enough for the tip" she turns to my husband and again asks for a tip. Bizarre experience.
Thankfully this was just a midpoint to meet up with bil, we'll find another place next time.

I been working in the area for a couple of months, everytime I come here I have a bad experience and I thought it was a 1 time thing but even my coworkers have said it that the waitress always ask or stand there looking to see if we leave a tip or not. I myself leave 5 dollars and she had the audacity to asked me “no more tip?” Very disappointing looks like they haven’t train they stuff too well because other buffets I been the stuff never ask or look at you to see whether you are leaving or not.

New in H-town so I might not know any better. My residence is 10 mins away from East Buffet , so no doubt I found myself patronizing this buffet spot.
A god time to get there is 5-630 pm. Food is warm and delicious.

Every time I have eaten at East Buffet, it has been great. The place is clean and looks very new. The food is fresh and consistently delicious. Especially the Sushi. Also the weekday lunch price is very affordable. Love the staff!

Just about average Chinese buffet. Reasonably priced for the variety of items offered, very much kid friendly. Besides a big variety of desserts they also offer ice cream in cones as well as freshly made pop corn to keep the little ones happy.

Some items are hit and miss but the rest are super Delicious!!!! I could not believe the flavor in the crawfish. It really had flavor and juice inside of it. That alone made me give them 5 stars plus the fish, coconut shrimp, fried shrimp and spicy chicken are excellent!!!!
