Service was good and prompt, very nice and helpful when ordering.
My God, terrible service and not that of the waitress, she tried to help me at all times, I simply wanted to change my rice for vegetables and in fact I explained that I was going to pay extra if necessary, I just couldn't eat rice, the waitress with everything I wanted to go and talk to the manager or the person in charge, I couldn't tell her, and she came back telling me no, that the dish simply couldn't be changed and I had to ask for it as it was, I had to get up from the table and leave simply because they couldn't change my rice for vegetables even when I was going to pay the difference, Because of people like that manager, businesses don't go ahead, I was a manager and worked for several years in a restaurant and I never let my client leave my restaurant upset or without eating.

This was my first time ever trying Salvadoran food and it was absolutely amazing. Visiting my cousin in Houston & he suggested this place. I feel sorry for the next restaurant I go to because they set the bar very high. Karla was our waitress and she was very patient, prompt, & polite. She explained EVERYTHING on the menu in full detail including what paired well with what. My next visit to Houston, this place will be my first stop!

I came here for breakfast and I was not disappointed. I loved the service, and the food. If you are in the mood for a Central American style breakfast or food or tamales, this is the place. I am definitely planning to come here again and try the rest of their food.
If you are not Central American well, live a little. You might be surprised by their tasty dishes.

Thé food is good, not great. The place is small and quaint, the cleanliness is poor. The floors are sticky, the restrooms have no toilet paper and unkept and dirty. My shoes kept getting stuck to the floor. My real concern is that is the cleanliness of the restaurant is poor….does this mean my food preparation is poorly done? It makes me question the integrity and cleanliness of food preparation. Is the kitchen clean, are appliances kept clean and tidy, are employees washing hands? Are there pests present in this unclean environment? I Probably won’t come here again.

Love their new location. I thought the parking would be better cause it seems like a bigger area but... it is what is they stay busy. And they are busy for a reason some of the better pupusas in the area.

Went a couple of weeks after they opened their new location and it is just as good if not better! Love the breakfast plates and the caldo de res. The pastelitos and of course the pupusas are also very good. Best place in the area!
