Arrived at 1 pm on a Monday (they closed at 2 pm) but they had run out of sliced brisket and turkey. Ordered the pulled pork and a sausage with sides (Brussel sprouts, elote corn salad, and Moroccan glazed carrots). The pulled pork was good plain or with the Texas gold sauce. Very tender and smoked well. The sausage was good...standard sausage BBQ. What made this lunch trip were the sides (5 stars). The brussel sprouts were sweet with a slightly tangy taste and cooked to perfection. My wife loved the Moroccan glazed carrots as did I. Not overcooked or undercooked and the yogurt on top made the perfect combination with the glaze. My favorite was the elote corn! Yum yum yum! We will come back and try the brisket, can’t wait!
Everything here is great including the staff.
Brisket, and Pork belly are amazing. Unusual sides for bbq like cale salad and Brussels sprouts are as good as any high end restaurant

If you're trying to make a case for Texas BBQ being superior to others, this place will help your argument! They have better side options than most joints I've seen around town. Their burnt ends were tender, juicy, and a perfect mix of fat and lean pieces. The pulled pork had amazing flavor. The meats can stand alone, and in my opinion, that separates good BBQ from excellent BBQ. The brussels also had tons of flavor. The cornbread was super moist and not too sweet; I liked it, didn't love it, but the cinnamon honey butter does great things for it. The sauces were uniquely different: I loved the kick of the gochujang.. Alabama white + pulled pork = perfect couple. There's so many uniquely different and delicious options at Feges that you can put together an amazing platter. Two thumbs up!

My wife and I stopped in yesterday as we were on the search of bbq in the top 50 joints of Texas bbq score by Texas Monthly magazine.we ordered a random selection of meat and sides due to a large menu we could no way try everything I’m just the first trip . The meats were on point and and the sides were perfectly cooked with all the details of the ingredients doing a dance with our tastebuds and then we indulged into the dessert that finished off the food coma we went into. I’m a pit master myself and this q is what is all about . Nice establishment, clean, and you can watch the cooking activities right in front of you while eating . Good job keep it up and smoke on.

Went here for lunch last Friday - fantastic barbecue! Had a three meat plate - brisket, sausage and pork belly, along with some macaroni salad and brussel sprouts. Brisket was phenomenal and led the meal along with the sprouts. Sausage and pork belly were great too - just felt the brisket was the best. They've got a nice Alabama sauce and hot sauce you can try with everything too - all comes together great in a sandwich with pickles, onions and jalapenos. All the staff on the line were super chill, overall great experience from start to finish.

Even with a hard to access Greenway location, Feges has earned their spot among Houston’s crowded list of must-eat BBQ spots.
The brisket is top-tier, the sausage is really really great, and the chef-created sides are on point.
The new Spring Branch location should push them even higher up the list! Can’t wait to go there!

I had a chance to stop by here since I had a weekday off. It was a little tough to find the curbside pickup area since it was my first time here, but the online order and the curbside process overall were efficient. The staffers were helpful and friendly. We got a brisket sandwich with potato salad and also a loaded baked potato with brisket. Was very impressed with the flavor and taste of all the food. Such great quality barbeque! Definitely will be back.

I recently experienced absolutely stunningly-delicious craft barbecue in one of the most unlikely places you might think of – at a corporate building food court in Greenway Plaza near downtown Houston. Yes, you read that right – a food court. Feges BBQ (it’s pronounced almost like you would say the plural of the word Fiji — “fee – jis”) is that place – and man is it awesome!! They have been open for right around two years now. It was started by Patrick Feges and his wife, Erin Smith. Erin is classically-trained chef, who has held key posts at some pretty amazing restaurants in NYC and Houston. She has also been the winning chef on Chopped, the popular show on the Food Network. Patrick has been smoking meat professionally since 2012, and has received training at some pretty amazing Houston-area barbecue spots before they opened their Greenway Plaza restaurant. When I say their barbecue is amazing, I am not alone. Just last year Feges BBQ was named one of Texas Monthly Magazine’s Top 25 New Barbecue Joints in Texas. They have just incredible smoked meat. There are too many choices honestly. I wanted to try the whole hog (yes, as in what they do in the Carolinas and Tennessee), pork belly, pulled pork, turkey and their boudin. But I knew that I had limited space in my stomach. And since this was my first visit, I went with the Texas Trinity of brisket, pork ribs and sausage.
-- Brisket – I love the point end of the brisket, so went with some slices of fatty. And I tell ya, that brisket was stunning, It was very moist, lucious, and melt-in-your-mouth, with a great bark and fantastic flavor.
-- Pork ribs – The pork ribs were a St. Louis cut, with an outstanding bark, a great chewy exterior, and the meat was moist and flavorful.
-- Sausage – The sausage was exceptional. It had a firmly-packed filling with a reasonably-fine grind and great flavor. And it was smoked beautifully, with a good snap to the casing and not too chewy or shriveled up.
What I wasn’t prepared for was both the variety and deliciousness of their sides. There were too many to choose from. I ultimately decided on Erin’s Moroccan spiced carrots and the elote corn salad. Both were fantastic. Given that they are in a commercial building food court, they also offer other choices – like kale salad or BBQ chef salad for lunch. The housemade pickles and pickled red onions and their two different kinds of barbecue sauce were very nice complements to the amazing meat.
I wish I would have had room for dessert. I’ve heard great things about them as well – especially the banana+caramel cream pie. The truth is, I am going to have go back again (and again) to try the food that I didn’t get to try this time around. If only Greenway Plaza were a shorter drive… Oh well.
