The Creme Brulee is legit and a great place to have an informal business meeting.
Totally fine. The Italian feel it has is of a train station bar. i do like they have a bar front where you can take your coffee if you want .The kids who work there are very nice. Coffee and pastries are fine.

If you're looking for a coffee shop that's like a slice of Italy here in Houston, then look no further. They have great espresso and amazing speciality drinks. My favorite is the "espresso nocciolato" which has Nutella in it and is very much a delight!

I frequent this cafe in the Rice Village several times a week and come across different employees. This morning was the one of the worse two I’ve experienced. I’ve seen these two before. Today is 6/24/2022. The two young ladies that were working the counter this morning (especially the one making the coffee) we’re not friendly at all, they never are. First of all, when I walked in neither of them spoke (no good morning, no hello, or thank you or goodbye when I left). I placed my order and the one making the coffee hands me my cup with the coffee all the way to the top. No fault of hers, I should have told her leave room for cream. Even though I knew the coffee would taste watery I went ahead and added my cream and tasted it anyway. It was watery. I asked her if she could remake it and she offered to pour out some of the coffee, and I explained that wouldn’t affect the flavor of the coffee and if she could remake it. I asked, not demanded because I knew I should have said something before she made it. I guess I’m spoiled by the other crew. So she remade it, reluctantly, and filled the cup halfway (really?) so I added my cream and left. The coffee was awful. To add to it, she was very friendly and chatty with a gentleman who came in and talked about going to night clubs. The guy stood there a cursed a couple of times (f-bombs), which was so rude. But she still carried on her conversation with him.
I wrote this because I was upset with the level of customer service, not to get anyone fired. I go to Felini because of the gentle and soothing atmosphere, which I’m sure the owner prides herself. I’ve met the owner a couple of times and I’m sure would not appreciate this behavior.
UPDATE ***On 6/29/2022 I received a call from the cafe manager who advised that he read my review and wanted to apologize. I appreciated his phone call and for even taking time to read my review. For that alone I take back the two stars and give a 5. Generally the staff is very nice but I don’t know what was going on that day. I’ve calmed down since then as well.

The coffee was good and the atmosphere is really nice as well. We visited 6/25/2022 around 12 or 1. Me and my husband had to leave because the girl who brought our coffee was GLARING at my husband. We have never had anyone flat out glare at us while bringing something and she seemed like she wanted to fight us. It was one of the most ridiculous experiences we’ve had and we are not coming back here. We just wanted to find a good coffee spot in Houston to come regularly.
By the way, when we had entered we attempted to say hi to her in a friendly way and no word came out of her.
Owner, please check your staff. They will ruin your business.

I got coffee and a pistachio Cupcake, they used to have more delicious pastries before the pandemic.
The restroom really needs to be cleaned more often.

Nice little coffee shop with lots of choices for coffee, bakery treats, and gelato. It can be a good study place too if you don't mind the background noise because it can get pretty crowded. There is also available free street parking as well garage parking for a fee (unless you're a resident). The nearby area also has lots of good options to eat. I would definitely go back there for coffee!

Still A great macchiato (traditional of course) but the food and the attitude has gone downhill. The avocado toast came with only two small slices of tomato covering only a small portion of the bread and there were only two small leaves of a arugula. When we asked for more tomato and arugula we got an eye roll and an attitude from the employee. The pastry was undercooked. My recommendation is to stop here for coffee and that’s it. But there are a lot of other really good coffee options within Houston. So no longer worth a stop.

Fellini was quaint and modern with friendly service. This is the first place I tried cannoli and I loved it, it had a tiramisu filling with a chocolate covered shell! We loved our drinks (chai latte and mocha) and will definitely come back when we find ourselves in Rice Village again.

This is a cozy place to enjoy an authentic coffee drink, like what you’d find in Italy. There are plenty of,lattes to,choose from (hot and iced). The prices are good, and there are just enough food, desert and sorbets on the menu, and in the display case to satisfy most people’s hunger or cravings. food items on the menu as well.
The background noise inside can make conversation a little challenging but it’s not constant.
There is also outside seating and WiFi available.
