Best pizza in Houston!
I love their pizza! OMG it I so
Good!!! Only downside that they are in downtown but the price is so good for the quality of pizza you get!!!
Yum yum and yum!
If you are a pizza lover you must go try it out!
Best pizza spot downtown bar none! Have been coming here since the astros won the World Series back in 2017 and haven’t stopped coming since! You can get pizza by the slice which is cheap or a whole pizza. I paid $3.75 for a slice and then got a drink and that was extra. Food is great and they have a lot to offer on the menu. Will always come to franks for anything I need pizza wise. Almost forgot to mention they’ve got a upstairs area for seating so there’s usually always someplace to sit.

Stumbled across this absolute gem while in downtown for a concert. The pizza was great, atmosphere was very old school. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area exploring.

Best pizza I’ve had in Texas! Also met a nice guy who was on his way out on his bike to deliver pizzas and he gave my husband and I the best tips on the wings. It was Friday night after the Mötley crew concert. Forgot his name but he was very nice.

Well I was on my first trip to Houston and I had to try some Texas pizza. I am a pizza lover and I have had it all over the U.S. and even on cruise ships. Anyway, this is my opinion.
Frank's is on Travis Street in downtown Houston. When one walks in the door, it looks like it could be a restaurant in NYC. I was hopeful with this. In addition, they actually sell slices. This has been pretty uncommon outside the northeastern U.S.
I actually ordered a whole small pepperoni, sausage and fresh mushroom pizza. It is smelled and looked good. Unfortunately, it was just all right. The sauce lacked the right spices and flavor. The crust was decent but not great. There was more than adequate toppings though. Considering that this was post-pandemic and with economic inflation, it was reasonably priced.
As I said above, I am a pizza lover and connoisseur, who prefers wood-fired oven or coal-fired oven pizza(a NYC thing but also found at a few other places in the Northeast U.S). Additionally, I have to say that I lived in New Haven Connecticut for four years and to this day, stop in New Haven every time I pass by, just to get pizza.

Frank’s Pizza is super good! I mean I don’t usually eat pizza that much, but I’ve always enjoyed Costco pizza and I think Frank’s is the next best competitor now. The chain fast food pizza places are not that good to me. But yeah, Frank’s Pizza is great and I love the meat lovers pizza! Add some Jalapeños for extra flavor!

Best American style pizza in town! The place is classic and located in the middle of downtown, just a block away from Main St and the Houston wall mural, make it a must go.
Tomatoes sauce tastes great and the dough is always well made. Prices are affordable. You can get the whole pizza or by slices.

One star of for them losing our order. I called ahead and placed an order. They said about 25-30 minutes and we gave them our phone number. We got turned around and arrived 45 minutes after we called. It was weird because we never got a phone call about it being ready. The place was extremely crowded and very dirty. There is crumbs and trash on the tables which made me happy that we took ours to go. They have cheap pizza that isn’t half bad but there needs to be some sort of organization in there. Maybe some Lysol and a rag as well.

1st time trying Frank’s and I loved it! The pizza crust is scrumptious any toppings would taste awesome with this crust. The cheesesteak with fries was also very good. We’ll be back for sure

Houston classic. If you want the best NY style slices in Houston this is the place. Ask when the new pizzas come out if they're not already flying and get a supreme slice. Eating there to enjoy the Movie posters of movies filmed in Houston. Nice touch. ✌️????
