Wow. I guess I'm the odd one out or just caught them on a bad day? I found the dumplings to be too thick, doughy, and the meat inside was seriously lacking flavor. We got the fried dumplings and they were over fried to the point where they were black and burned on the bottom. The soup dumplings were terrible. I've had really good soup dumplings before where the soup pools out and you have to bite them over a spoon to catch the soup. There was no soup. Those were steamed dumplings with meat inside. The pork inside actually tasted like breakfast sausage pork. No onions or ginger. Just bland breakfast sausage pork. I think people rate this so high because the dumplings are big and you get a lot of them and they're affordable, but the flavor was really lacking for us.

This place is always smacking, especially with the spicy sauce. I can’t handle spicy but I’ll suffer for this taste. There’s no dine in and you can also call in to order ahead of time. They only accept cash and zelle.

This place is heaven sent!!!! I walk in and see fresh dumplings being made. I got the beef and veg dumpling soup and it’s the best thing I’ve ever had. And it’s a lot of food for a great price. This is my new go to spot.

Great dumpling place that's still doing take-out only. And it's still cash or Zelle only. But it's worth it - great selection of dumplings, especially if you like ones with a thicker skin.

My favourite place in Houston to get dumplings without a doubt. I've been eating here for 8 years and it's still great. No matter pan fried or boiled they're all really good and you can't go wrong with this place.

If you’ve ever had potstickers at a restaurant and been disappointed at the amount of food you get for the price you paid, you will be pleasantly surprised here! The potstickers are Texas sized! Not to mention delicious and you can see them hand making them in the back. You won’t find processed pre-frozen dumplings here, only freshness and flavor for an amazing price. We got 10 of these Texas sized potstickers for only $7.

I got the steamed vegetable dumpling and they are amazing! The chili oil is really tasty as well. They are take out only but I will eat these dumplings in my car any time!

The owner from Liaoning knows his dumplings! From the XLB (Xiao Long Bao), to the potstickers, and the onion pancake, the flavor was on point!
I couldn’t even wait, had to start chowing down in my car!
FYI the soy sauce/chili dipping sauce was super salty. It would be awesome if Golden Dumpling House could offer black vinegar and ginger with their XLB.

Delicious dumplings, but the Dan Dan noodles are rather mediocre. For $25 you can feed 3-4 people which is rather impressive. However you have to get your own water, napkins, sauce, etc. If you are looking for dumplings, come try this place! That's about all they do is dumplings and soup. It's like a 3.5... I'm looking forward to coming back and ordering differently and it might move up to a 4.
