If you are looking for a good place for fried shrimp this should be on the list! As for the other foods I have only tasted the fried fish and it didn't check all the boxes. That said you can get 12 large shrimp for $8 with fries or rice and it's not gummy or pastey in any way!
Tons of fried food options. Sunday after church is packed so if you go with a large group you may have to wait a minute or two. Moderately priced and parking is very limited.

Food was great, but the service was horrible. Had a young kid as our server. Once he took our order and brought our drinks, he never came back to check on us. We had to flag someone down to get a second drink. When the food arrived, he hadn't placed one of the orders. As I said, food was good: great battered fries, tasty fried rice, good shrimp, and a good value fir the buck!

When it comes to fish and shrimp soup this is the go to place for me in Houston. There are two location that I usually pay a visit to one inside the hHeights and the other up north both are equally good. I wanted to try out the shrimp fried rice so ordered a small plate too. Very satisfactory indeed. To top it off I had ordered the lemonade too. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a good fish soup to warm the innards.
Update August 14th 2022: Last week I visited this place again. They cheated me on my credit card by increasing the tip and slapping the charge on me. Not that the amount was huge but it is a matter of honesty and integrity. I will never visit this restaurant again and recommend everyone to keep an eye on the credit card statement for any inflated amount you see. I changed my rating from 5 stars to a solitary one. Shame on the people who work there????????????????????

This restaurant offers casual seafood dining. I had fried shrimp with fries, batter tasted good. Husband had jalapeño shrimp tasted way better than mine. My daughter, whom is a picky eater, got the kids shrimp and she ate it all! I only gave 4 stars because the waitress was not very good, we only saw her 3 times. First when she took our order, second when she brought the drinks and the last time when she brought the food. We had to go to the cashier to ask for our check because our waitress never came to us to check on us or to give us the ticket.

For the price I’m not sure that I’ve been to a better seafood restaurant. Their seafood soup is nice and spicy with loads of seafood. We always share a large ceviche and polish it off before the entrees come. Even when the restaurant is busy and it seems like you get seated quickly and get your food fast as well. Really enjoy eating here!

Pre Covid this was one of my favorite places. Strong margaritas that are always good. The quality of the chicken wings has gone down. They’re much bigger and fattier than what I’ve had previously. The soup was good and as always the rice was perfect.

This place legit has the best prices for seafood. I love their seafood soup here and their fried talapia is the crispiest juiciest fried fish I’ve ever had. Their prices for boiled shrimp is great and is cooked well every time. I have been to their other location and I really like this one better. Their servers are nice and very efficient, too.

In the low cost, low expectation spectrum, this is ok. Service was super friendly (she earned 5 stars by herself), the breaded fish was not bad, their house special fried rice was just not that good, very dry, the chicken pieces in it were like stone dry, cooked ages ago or left under the lamp for hours. I prefer Mambo seafood in the same price range.
Would not willingly come back by myself for sure but could eat there again if circumstances forced me to.

The place is very popular and filled with people on the weekends. Since the restaurant is large, there’s usually not a wait. The seafood is a bit better than average but it tastes like fried frozen seafood. The oyster plate was fresh but they weren’t amazing oysters. Overall, the restaurant is worth stopping by once or twice if you’re nearby and the seafood won’t break the bank.

I've tasted better seafood. Great service. Didn't feel safe with table of 8 sat in front and at back of our table no space to be 6ft apart, I won't be back.
