Don't like giving fives but everything on and off the plate is very flavorful and seems really fresh. Had the redfish from over mesquite... want some at home! Very nice place.
ps. I'm a bad reviewer bc I don't like giving 5 or 3.
Barbecue here is pretty good. Not the best that I’ve had, but quite delicious.
I really enjoyed the jalapeño cheddar sausage, which had a good snap from the casing, a great spice from the jalapeños, and a nice moistness from the sausage itself.
I was a little disappointed with the brisket, as it was dryer and leaner than I would personally like.
I chose potato salad and macaroni as my sides. The potato salad was good, but the macaroni was the real winner. It was super cheesy and delicious.
Overall, this is a really solid barbecue, but there are many other better barbecue places out here in Houston.

A solid barbecue place. The food was good, and the service was great. It wasn’t the best brisket I’ve had in the area, but still quite delicious. Definitely will be coming back to try other meats.

I really like the setup of this place, had a really welcoming friendly vibe upon entry.
I was expecting a little bit more from the menu, as they didn’t offer burnt ends as a meat option. Even though that a Kansas City bbq dish it still would of been nice to have and is usually a staple at most smokehouse. The brisket was tender and juicy but didn’t hold flavor consistency thru-out the cut strips. The best bites were the bark and then it would get kind of dull. The Turkey was pretty impressive and I did like the smokiness to it. The dirty rice & potato salad is a good sides choice but wouldn’t recommend the Mac & Cheese. The ribs are tender and probably your best bet.
I typically favor beers on tap, although they only offer draft they do have plenty of options from pilsners to lagers and offer frozen mugs if that’s your type of thing. Even though the food wasn’t exactly what I was looking for I still give it 4 stars;if you’re in town visiting Houston and want pretty decent bbq I would recommend.

Ordered the 3 meat and the portion is big enough for me to share with my sister. The jalapenos sausage is really good and the homemade bread is so soft and nice. Definitely worth trying

Great bbq...one of the friendliest staff and so clean. I recommend it all from the mac-n-cheese to all the meats...can't miss. That jalopeno bread was so yummy. Will come back. ADA wheelchair accessible. Dog friendly patio.

Really really good bbq. I’m from nyc and knew if I was going to Texas I needed some bbq. I got ribs and they were sooo good the sauce was great!!! I got them with Mac and cheese and potato salad. The Mac and cheese was great but the potato salad wasn’t my cup of tea. They also gave me a free pecan pie and was contemplating checking a bag in just so I can bring a pie home. Really good good. You can tell it’s really authentic when your hands smell like charcoal.

I was in the area so I decided to have some barbecue for lunch. I got a sliced brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad. The place wasn’t very busy and the staff was very helpful. There is plenty of outside seating with a very nice cover.
The only suggestion that I have is adding fries to the menu. I always enjoy fries with a BBQ sandwich, but instead I had to get potato salad. I felt the potato salad lacked flavor. I probably would not get it again but everything was good.

Cafeteria style barbecue. The decor inside fits the mood of an old school barbecue place. There is picnic table seating outside, which is perfect for this style of dining. The staff was really friendly and service was prompt, moving the line along quickly. The brisket and the chicken were my favorite choices. The ribs were decent. I don’t have any comparison for what Czech sausage should be like, but I thought theirs was good. The sides were all good. The coleslaw and potato salad were perfect. We didn’t try the dessert because we were too full.
