Drove by this interesting looking restaurant (exterior looks like a railroad car) and decided to give it a try before consulting with Google. It serves mainly seafood related items. Atmosphere is great for couples. Their gumbo soup is one of the best I had in around Houston. Staff are friendly and gave us useful recommendations. Food is made with great care and the sauce for the fish are superb. BTW, one of the raw oysters came with a free pearl without extra charge!
When we arrived we parked in back. The only issue I had at all was the railing on the steps to get in almost gave me third degree burn. I am disabled and need the rail assist to maneuver the stairs. Handicapped parking was full.
The service was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our server was at our table the perfect amount of time. He was fast and efficient.
The food was cooked really well. The red snapper was tender and juicy. The green sauce on top didn't add anything to the fish. I personally did not like the flavor of it, but that is personal preference. It did however need more seasoning. The crab fettuccine was absolutely delicious. It is a very heavy dish, so if you want something light I would not suggest it. I do look forward to eating it the next couple of days.
Was very happy they had spring water. More businesses need this option. Due to a medical condition this is all I can drink ( and tomato juice). So was very nice to have.
Loved the atmosphere and pretty much everything. It is on the pricey side, but it is seafood and very goog seafood.

Amazing experience! My husband & I came here for our 7 year anniversary. Patrick was our server, he was an amazing/professional server. Patrick took great care of us. Food was good & so were the drinks.

We were very excited about trying Goode seafood restaurant because the Mexican & BBQ restaurants were so good. But by the end of our meal we were not impressed. For our appetizer we had the Seafood Campechana, which was ok, the pictures make it look huge but the glass ice cream bowl is very slim below the over stuffed top making it seem like a huge appetizer. But once you start eating you run out quickly. Don't share with anyone else because you need one per each person at $19.00 each.
For our entre, my wife had grilled Golden Tile fish and it had zero flavor, zero seasoning, just grilled for $28.00. I had the crab pasta and it was ok, very little lump crab meat for $28.00. The mesquite grilled fish pictures show grilled shrimp on the plate but to get the 4 grilled shrimp it costs $15.00 extra, bringing the total of the meal to $43.00
Onion Rings were very good and the garlic bread was good. We were very interested in the Seafood Rice but very disappointed when we tasted it. It was dry, very little flavor and very little seafood for $6.00 for a half cup. For $6.00 I could cook a whole pot of Jasmine rice and add 1/4 lb of shrimp and flavor everything much better than what we ate. When we went to Goode Mexican restaurant, we were impressed with everything we ate and couldn't wait to go back. We also loved the BBQ at Goode BBQ, but Goode Seafood, Naw, Nope, Never Again! Spent $102.00 for a meal for our birthdays and they don't even give a small dessert like Pappa's Seafood Restaurant which is so much better by far.
We rarely go out to dinner and feel terrible about spending that much money on food when we choose a restaurant of this quality, but we feel that we wasted our money Saturday night. We reqret not choosing Pappa's Seafood Restaurant or Acme Oyster House for our birthday celebration dinner.

Goode Company Seafood's service was exceptional. But the Cajun dishes should be left to those who know gumbo is about flavor and is not about southern 30 weight gravy with a few kernels of rice and 3 shrimp tossed in. Terrible gumbo. Now, the Lady Bird salad had flavor. Spinach, strawberries, candid pecans, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette produced a salad with abundance of flavor.

Standout fish and seafood in a really friendly atmosphere with incredible service! We had heard good reviews of the Goode collection of restaurants in Houston and man did we land a great catch with our choice of Goode Co Seafood. We were looking for something approachable for our family with our younger kids. They had a kids menu and an incredible full menu too. My wife and I ordered the Seafood Tower for 2 (her main entree) and I added an order of Redfish on the half shell (my main entree). The Seafood Tower was overflowing and everything was fresh and flavorful. So much goodness! For my entree, I'd never had redfish before and it was certainly a treat the way the prepared it. It didn't taste overly complex, but I couldn't stop eating it! Everyone else at the table also love it! My girls got kids portions of catfish dinner and chicken tenders. The catfish was awesome and a great portion for kids of most sizes! The chicken tenders were even pretty tasty. We were wowed by this place and our server was beyond incredible! It is a highly recommended!

Consistently delicious, always fresh seafood. Their shrimp & crab cocktail is not to be missed, called the Campechana Extra. Best I’ve ever had. Great margaritas, too. I’ve always enjoyed every app & entreé I’ve eaten here over the years. Fast, attentive service, clean restaurant.

This is a nice, quaint place and reminded me of an upscale 50s diner. Food was good but seemed a bit pricey for the meal portion size of the meal. Service was average but good. Server was polite and professional.

All around excellent service and food! Haden did a great job as our sever. He was super helpful and gave us tons of recommendations. He was so nice too! He made our first visit great and we will definitely be returning in the future. All of the food was so good. I got the crabmeat fettuccine.

It was okay. I was hoping for fish tacos but the waiter told me they've never served fish tacos and that's okay. The experience was okay. I ordered a fried catfish poboy with onion rings. The fish was good but the toasted bread was super hard. Way too hard. I couldn't eat it so I just ate the fish and left the bread. I really wanted the bread to be good.

A fine crafted dining experience, there's a reason this place is always packed. Our server was great and had a very very strong sense of attention to detail. Our meals came out in a timely manner and tasted amazing! It was my first time having mahi mahi and I loved it. The deserts were also great, well proportioned so you don't feel overly full if you have one after eating a meal.

Rainbow trout was good. The grilled oysters and campechana appetizers were ok. Pecan pie was delicious. While the food was fair, I didn't care for how they packed our large party into two small tables. I just wasn't comfortable. The wait staff was great... friendly and frequently stopping by to refill drinks. Parking was packed on a Thursday night.
