This restaurant has a lot of similarities with Feast Buffet - large dining areas which seat hundreds, big circular tray ceiling with "mood" lighting, ice cream in small cups, steamed dim sum and definitely the hibachi bar. Empty plates were removed quickly from the table and dishes in the buffet bars never went out. Prices match the food offerings. Very good choice to have a quick bite and get back to work.

Can you say DIS-APPOINTED! Uggghh it’s so hard to find a good buffet these days. I salute Hunan for having gloves and sanitizer stations, as we know there’s a lot of cross contamination at buffets and the streets are getting wilder with new epidemics daily. So that is highly appreciated. HOWEVER the food was trash!!! What Chinese place doesn’t have kung pao chicken ???? most of the food wasn’t up to Temp and greasy.
I thought at least at the hibachi I can get food cooked fresh. HOWEVER the way the meat is stored for the hibachi I know they are breaking every health code written ????
Chicken just sitting there, the beef is literally a bucket of blood and you have to reach over different proteins to get what you want. Totally unsanitary. Not to mention they burnt my rice ????
So not worth it! If you know of any good ones please let me know.

Quick food with lots of variety but don’t expect finesse or quality here for the price you pay. The spread of buffet was massive. It’s very reasonable for dinner buffet at $16.99 for adults and $7.99 for kids under 12 years. It’s for those who seek quantity. ???? The service was good. They are very prompt in clearing your plates. Pretty fast turnaround.

I live over an hour away from here, so I only get to stop by every once in a blue moon now. This used to be my favorite Asian buffet and I would plan trips just to come here. The hibachi fried rice used to be my favorite thing here. Unfortunately, the last 2 visits I had, I noticed that it's no longer the same. Everything else was OK. A great selection of food choices compared to most buffets. I've noticed that a lot of Asian buffet places started to taste much different after the reopening from the pandemic. I would definitely come back, but only if I'm in the area. The price is very reasonable. Food taste is good. Food quality is great. Was always a clean establishment during all my visits.

A wide variety of selection here. We went for weekday lunch that started at 3.30pm. So beware if you had a late lunch and paid after 3.30pm then they will charge you dinner price. It was $15.99 per person for weekday dinner at that time. Price seems to have gone up. There was alot of seafood including crawfish and clams. They have a stir fry corner which is my personal fav. Sushi and sashimi was offered, even dim sum but i find the dim sum very limited

The buffet itself is quite good because of the variety of food. Some dishes are delicious some are ok. Love the hibachi secret for fresh cooked food but they need to fix their sauce, it's not as appealing.
The only thing that threw me off is the cleanliness of the place. I get that there are lots of people all the time but surely they can find some time to hire a carpet cleaner to deep clean their carpet.

I was invited to have lunch at Hibachi Grill and Buffet, at 12183 Katy Fwy H, Houston, TX 77079, by a good friend of mine, who really enjoys food. I was amazed by the selection of food from piizza to sushi, soups and bbq, they have it all including a hibachi bar, choose your meats, vegetables, rice, add some garlic and they will cook it up fresh right in front of you. And after you've eaten all you can, there is still dessert.

The place is remarkable inside. The buffet is quite larger than any buffet I have seen. There were a great mixture between variety of foods from various Asian cuisine. You are able to eat sushi, with pork fried dumplings, and even kimchi. During whole visit, staff were very unfriendly. Our glasses were never refilled, which is not an issue, but shows what service we received. However, what made our service negative was the staff member came to our table while we were still eating and tried to take the plates we were eating on. We said no we are eating this, so she started grabbing random napkins in a rash manner from the table. I was just shocked from her behavior. Then a few seconds later came back and quickly grabbed the soup bowl that we did not finish. It was irritating to eat and was not comfortable. Food quality was not bad.

We visit here frequently because of the taste and freshness of their food. The seafood, green beans, soups, meats, even appetizers, and desserts are delicious. My personal favorite is the hibachi grill. You choose your choice of meat, fish or vegetables w/ rice or noodles and give it to the chef there. They will cook that right in front of you. Don’t forget to take the white sauce from the corner of the hibachi booth. The price is $12 for weekdays lunch and $16 for weekdays dinner. And the price on weekends the whole day is $17. A bit pricey on the weekends.
The customer service is great. They are always aware of your need. They clean the tables every time you finish and put aside your plates.
I will definitely visit this place again. I highly recommend this restaurant.
