Very cute hobbit theme. I am a huge Tolkien fan and there were so many adorable nicknacks. The food had huge portions and was very delicious. The burgers are massive and there is plenty of fajita for two people. My husband and I split everything and had plenty of food to take home for dinner. The drinks are well made and the cups are adorable. Great place to grab lunch.
Such a cute restaurant!
• clean and fun decor
• service was polite and friendly. Our waitress was a gem.
• we got a flight of Mead and oh man it was incredible. I loved trying all the new flavors.
• we also got the seasoned fries - which were nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
• the outside area is full of greenery and cute picnic tables.
I literally loved everything about this restaurant. We actually just went here to pass some time before another bar opened, but what an unexpected treat!

One of my favorite little hidden gems. Food as always delicious, healthy (mostly) and wonderful atmosphere. Can't go wrong. They don't have gluten-free but they did accommodate by wrapping in lettuce.

After all these years I still LOVE the hobbit cafe. What an amazing place. Got the mushroom burger. Cheese enchilada. Bilbo slim on lettuce wrap with side fries. No place does it better than hobbit.
Side note: ordered the chips and salsa and is it just me? That salsa was like sweet tomato soup ???? won’t order that again.
Everything else was bang on!

Really cute place! My husband's a huge Tolkien fan and was over the moon. Portions are indeed huge. Loved the decor (illustrations from the films and Tolkien himself) The small human dug her nachos. My husband survived their Morgoth burger challenge. Worth it all around. Will definitely be back on our next Houston trip.

This place came highly recommended by some people at met while at work. We looked up the menu and were greatly overwhelmed and impressed. There is literally something for everyone. The vibe is chill and fun. The tributes to The Lord of the Rings are pretty awesome. The food is outstanding. There is no shortage of flavor. There are dimensions to their food. The dragon wings are so crispy and crunchy on the outside and amazingly juicy on the inside. The jerk sauce is something that I would eat on cereal. The burgers are huge and so freakin delicious. I could go on and on. There is so much to try here, I'll have to come back. This is a true dining experience.

This was a fun little cafe with the Lord of the Rings theme. There was all kinds of Art from the books and the movies. The menu was expensive. There were so many great looking items was difficult to make a decision. And the end I settled on the black and blue cheese burger and my lady friend got a curry chicken salad sandwich. Both were tasty but it's so much food. We couldn't finish it all. But we'll definitely go back and try more of the menu. They had some pretty unique looking Mead and beers from around the world. I'm just not much of a Beer Drinker but I can appreciate that a lot of folks like it. We definitely recommend it can't wait to return.

Overall great quality food! I had a Boudin Burger which was very savory and had a nice tangy sauce. I also had a side of seasoned brown rice which was a nice touch. I think the vibe of the Cafe is very chill and great for socializing! Our server Delilah was very nice and friendly and gave some great recommendations.
My main critique is that the building looked... not well managed aesthetically. I know they were trying to go for a rustic tavern look, but it didn't really feel representative of like a hobbit tavern. It felt like an old building with an arch in the middle and some Lord of the rings merchandise scattered around. The bathroom also had a lot of carvings and etching from people with profanity etched inn. Maybe some more strategic decorating and cleaning up the bathroom would go a long way for improvement!
Still would come back again with friends that are interested in a unique themed Cafe.

This might be my favorite place to eat and all of Houston. A literal nerd paradise; there are film memorabilia, signed posters and a hobbit-y look everywhere. They even have shirts and glasses to purchase if you love this place as much as I do! A lot of their menu is themed based off of the characters which is very fun, I really like the Mithril Mix smoothie! Be sure to come Saturday or Sunday morning for their brunch, which is the best part of this place. Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and amazing coconut pancakes!

This was a fun place to dine.
The building is very cute and small, making it have a certain movie feel. We sat outside. They have a great menu with various options and they have great deals for appetizers/happy hour/brunch (can’t remember what the specifics were). Our waitress was delightful and very kind. The food took a lot longer to come out than we hoped, but it was absolutely delicious and a great place to stop for lunch. I’m hoping to come back with some friends as I really did enjoy this place.
