I just tried out Hungry Like The Wolf. It is an 80’s themed restaurant. Food was pretty good. You pay a little extra for the experience. They have a big screen with videos and a good sound system with a subwoofer and they play it pretty loud. You can still talk so it is not too loud. Service is slower than I would have liked, but they have 80’s trivia cards at the table to make up for it. I would not come here just for the food but it is fun for those of us of a certain age. It has a good 80’s vibe.
Today was the first time trying this place. Chef Fabian and our server Carver did an excellent job preparing and serving our dinner. Everything came out hot, fresh and accurate as ordered. Really loved the nonstop 80's music videos. The host and other employees were friendly as well. Great place to eat and hang out. Will be back.

Too much hype and no flavor. The food looks good, but is not. The chicken was bland, and the waffles were so-so. The place and atmosphere is pretty cool, 80s theme. Staff was cool. Food gets thumbs down though, none of us liked what we ordered.

I love this diner! It’s my favorite weekend breakfast spot. The staff is always so friendly and the atmosphere is fun. I’m a big 80’s fan and I love watching all the music videos and old movies. The food is awesome. I love the breakfast but they also have great lunch options. My dad said they had the best chicken fried stake he ever had. Great classic diner food with a fun twist and their drink menu looks good too. I come her often and plan to keep coming back.

Fun '80's theme in a diner atmosphere including a huge screen showing music videos. We were there for weekday lunch and they were not at all busy. Service was good. Food was good. Breakfast all day.

The food was much better than anticipated. Very delicious, and the ambiance was great. My niece loved it as she has an 80’s soul. Highly recommend!

So glad I found this place! Pulled in as a way to avoid traffic and chose it based on the name alone. If you are in 80’s lover, you would definitely enjoy this place. Stopped in for happy hour and I was not disappointed. The service, drinks, and food was fantastic! The bartender Ainsley was amazing, huge shout out to her. She was so attentive, friendly, helpful and gave me great suggestions. The place was very clean and friendly and such a great nostalgic atmosphere. I can see myself coming here often and look forward to the next time.

I had the "Yo! MTV Raps Wrap" with onion rings. (You get a choice of onion rings, french fries, or potato chips.) I tried my husband's french fries and they were great; however, he said that my onion rings were much better!
The service was totally rad. Our waitress and the store owner kept checking to make sure our party of 8 didn't need anything.
The decor of the restaurant is phenomenal! It was so well thought out and each element fits in perfectly - even the huge Rubik's cube that hangs from the ceiling like a gargantuant disco ball!
It's definitely the coolest restaurants I've been to since moving to Houston! I am biased because I love the '80s so much and am also a child of the 80's. I knew every song that came on the radio (the corresponding music videos are either projected onto a huge portion of one wall or are on many of the TVs around the dining & bar area. Be careful though, if you look around too thoroughly you just make it Rick-Rolled.

Great food and an 80's themed diner complete with 80's music? Yes please! Because we had been moving furniture up 3 flights of stairs, we literally were hungry like the wolf, so what a great place to go to satiate my appetite.
Since the weather in our beloved H-town has been AH-MAZING the last 2 days, we sat on the patio, which we had all to ourselves.
The service here is excellent, from start to finish and we had Jeff as our waiter. He suggested some fried pickles, and we did not decline that suggestion. They came out with a side of ranch. OMG they were delicious and honestly the serving size could be the meal itself for just 2 people LOL!
I ended up getting the Yo! MTV Raps wrap with grilled chicken. It's served with lettuce, tomato and bacon and it was so freakin' tasty!! You also get chips or fries, I opted for chips but should have opted for neither as I was so. darn. full. and did not even finish the chips.
The husband ordered the nachos and added chicken. The chips and the queso are made fresh, and the nachos themselves were T-A-S-T-Y!!!
I absolutely enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere here, and the owner chatting with us prior to leaving was nice, too! I highly recommend this place.

I only give it 3 stars because I just had 2 beers and had to leave, but it was 'cute', smaller than I thought it would be. Not packed on a Friday evening, but when I came in from the patio the food had arrived for a few people and I think that's where the focus is. The meatloaf smelled fantastic. Ambiance could use a little boost...more stuff on walls, etc, but the music was on pointe 80's and love the posters in the ladies room.
