Overall Rating

Very nice atmosphere, close to my home and great food and service, winning combination I had the Italian Beef sandwich and a Cesar Salad. Both were very good and would definitely order it again. This seems to be a well run restaurant with very attentive staff. Will return to try the rest of their menu. Just opened and is a offshoot of their Dallas location. Glad to have another good restaurant in Houston.

Unfortunately, contrary to all the great reviews out there. My family and I had an overall unpleasant experience at il Braco.

In regards to the food, it truly tastes fantastic and I can see why this restaurant has the ratings it does. If done well, with experienced servers and attention to detail, this would be an incredibly restaurant worthy revisiting over and over.

However, our experience tonight was the opposite of that. The entire meal was incredibly rushed. Our server was very timid, and extremely casual. There was no effort in explaining any of the menu items or even allowing our party time to decide on their choices before rushing to the next item.
Our first round of cocktails also took 25 minutes which was frustrating.

Every few minutes another member of the service staff would rush by the table and try to take half eaten dishes/appetizers and even our half full drinks off the table without asking if we were done with them. It almost felt like we were defending our meal as we were trying to eat it.

When the main courses came out, they were just left on our table without any explanation or guide as to what it is that we were served. There was no cutlery to serve ourselves with. The plates were just left at the corner of the table and we had to set them ourselves.

Again not halfway into the main course, servers kept running by the table trying to pick up our dishes without asking us.

Lastly, without any offer of a dessert menu or coffee, a check was left at our table in a very hurried fashion.

As stated in the beginning, the food tasted great but the service was abysmal. We highly recommend staying away from this place as will we until things are changed. There are plenty of similar tasting restaurant in houston with a much better dining experience. They truly will not last long if they keep that up.

Most amazing dinner!! Everything was perfect. Great location, beautiful buildout interior , amazing bartender and cocktail, awesome server.
Might be the best meal I have had this year!!

Started off with the lightly fried artichoke, the most amazing Barrata salad , the Cochin e Pepe Pasta , the burger was best burger or top burgers I have ever had. Also the broccolini.

What makes this food so awesome is the spices, sauces and flavoring that add. So good.

If I was to pick to areas that need some love, their time management on checking in a being seated when you have a reservation and the dessert selection which they were out of the two of three things they offer.

I must say they are new and it’s a full house every night. Probably the newest hardest reservation to get. I can’t wait till we go back!

A new Italian gem that recently opened in post oak. Friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Delicious, perfectly prepared dishes. Great variety in menu, from appetisers to pizza, pasta, burgers, and entrées. Fresh pasta, made in-house. Succinct yet thoughtful wine menu, listing wine from friendly to bold. Thank you for a 5 star experience.

Focaccia & Meatballs were quite good (well balanced marinara too). The Italian Beef was more like a French Dip, but delicious nonetheless. Cacio de Pepe was legit. Caesar salad was totally overdressed, but was the only weak dish of the night. Service was professional & friendly.

This place was incredible! The service was amazing but the food was like being in Italy cooking the pasta the way the Americans like it a little softer. We will definitely be back. The general manager Marco was wonderful and so is everyone on staff.

Ok… wow! Wow! Wow! Had no idea we would be walking in on their “soft opening”
When we were ordering my wife couldn’t decide between the Chicken Piccata or the Spicy Gemelli but chose the Piccata.
The GM (Marco) overheard my wife asking a bunch of questions and he surprised us by bringing out the Gemelli for us to try as well. Which was perfect because she ended up loving the Gemelli more than the Piccata. I ordered the Bolognese and was very happy. Love the large noodles they used. Ohhhh, and we asked for some of the meat sauce on the side and added that to the Gemelli and Wowzerz.
The lady in the booth next to us we found out was born and raised in Italy. She was here enjoying the food… that speaks volumes to me ????

Food quality and service were top notch. The staff was accommodating to the vegan in our party and it was some of the best pasta and sauce he's ever had. The filet was perfection and who knew olive oil worked so well with ice cream! We will be back.

Well appointed, modern vibe with attention to service detail and excellent food. Tasty food was fresh, made in-house and original with traditional Italian flair.

Amazing experience. It feels like Il Bracco Post Oak has been open for more than just a few days. Staff worked together seamlessly and the food and atmosphere was oh so lovely! If you want a place with delicious food and a warm environment, this is it!
