I usually never leave reviews, but this restaurant was excellent! Service, food, and the atmosphere. The Manager was very sweet and I appreciated her coming around talking to us and checking in which a lot of managers do not do. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and it is now easily a favorite here in downtown.
Excellent food and service. Luis was very helpful and informative. We will definitely eat here again. My only question is, can you build an Irma’s restaurant in Galveston?

Very disappointing dining experience. Extremely limited menu and food was subpar. Definitely not worth the price. Also manager and "friends" took up all of the valet spots so that service was not available. For a disable patron it was very difficult finding parking nearby downtown. For a manager, that was completely unprofessional. Frankly, I won't be dining here again.

3 of us ordered the Combo #1 - shrimp taco, cheese enchilada and beef fajita. the other 2 in our party ordered the wild game combo.
Everyone ate the entire lunch - it was so delicious..the beef fajita meat was really tender, the cheese enchilada was excellent and the shrimp taco was very very good. Nice mixture of flavors. Also, the queso we ordered was the best Ive ever had. Had a bite to it - YUM. The guys who had the wild game combo talked about how tasty everything was.
Service was impeccable! It is a NICE place - white tablecloths! A bit pricey but again - delicious!

Diego was our waiter & the manners this young man exhibited was such a breath of fresh air !
Hoping his parents read this - Hats off to you for raising such an amazing young man !!
Irma’s will forever be our stop before the game !

The food was delicious, they only had the GameDay menu, but it hit the spot. The wild boar quesadilla was especially good. Great food, a little pricey though.

This will be our new to go to for Mexican food. The bore tamales were awesome. They were made with love. The shrimp fajitas are delicious. We also ordered an off the menu salsa de habanero freshly made by one of their cooks. The habanero salsa went perfectly with the rest of our meal and made it thatuch better. There are no words to describe their Margaritas, simply perfection.

Came to Houston for a long weekend trip. Was looking specifically for Mexican food within walking distance of my hotel. Went into Irma's Southwest around 5pm on a Friday. Was seated immediately, didn't expect the white table clothes and excellent presentation! The food was great for myself and my two colleagues. Enchiladas, salmon salad, bacon wrapped shrimp. May have slightly offended the owner/ chef when asking about the dressing for the salad, hopefully he is complimented by seeing us back again tomorrow night to try more of the items on the menu. We didn't have reservations the first night, we did however reserve our spot for tomorrow at the recommendation of the host. Can't wait to go back!

Love Love Love Irma's Southwest! From the time you enter the restaurant, the staff is so welcoming and always makes sure you gave the best experience. Their food is so good, fresh and vibrant. They're located right up the street from Minute Maid Park....If you're in the Houston area... You won't go wrong stopping in to get a spiked lemonade or margarita!!

High end Mexican. A bit overpriced but the food was delicious. I must say the salmon tacos were the best I've ever had. However, I rate Mexican places by their chips and salsa and I thought both lacked flavor. So I was pleasantly surprised the tacos and yellow rice were so good. The Irma's lemonade was really good too, especially the alcoholic version. Wanted to explore more on the menu like maybe and appetizer and/or dessert but at their price point it would have been an $80 ticket just for one!! And for the prices they need to invest in replacing the chipper plates. We had more than a couple at our table.
