My husband and I were taking a late night stroll down the street our hotel was on and came across this spot. We are avid taco lovers and as my first time in Houston, I said why not give it a try. It was one of the few restaurants open late night since we had a late flight getting in. The line was wrapped around the restaurant, I presume there was a concert nearby that just ended and several hungry folx stopped by. We were in line for about 25 minutes and ordered a few tacos to go. We saw there was a bar but there was only one or two folx serving people their orders so I figured they weren’t used to handling a packed restaurant. The person manning the bar was overwhelmed. It took him a while to get our drinks and we had to remind him several minutes later about our order. The tacos were okay at best. We took them back to our hotel to smash. Maybe if we ate them fresh at the restaurant I’d have another perspective! I’d try them again, not for to go orders tho.
Such an amazing experience here. I was welcomed with friendly smiles and a quick over view of the menu. I went with the shrimp and grits taco and rotisserie chicken which were both flavorful and delicious. Their margaritas pack a punch so one was all I needed. The outdoor balcony was clean and spacious. Will definitely visit again in the near future. (Actually I went back the next day but who’s counting ????)

Well after reading about this place I decided to try them out. So it started w an couple blocks away parking. Got in took order to go. Got back an was surprised it was a tortilla. I'm like seriously I just paid for a rolled up dry tortilla w a spread of beans and rice n couple pieces of chicken u can count.

Great taco place with fantastic flavors throughout the menu. Each taco is just individual enough that it has a unique and different flavor profile. The El Fandango was phenomenal! Guacamole is good and very smooth, but the chips could have used a little more salt. Gluten free options are available with corn tortillas (they even double them up for strength!). We will certainly be back to try more taco options!

For several years I've fined in and enjoyed a menu of delicious items. Their tortillas are individually made just for them by a specialist. They are thin and flavorful, allowing the creative Ingredients to be enjoyed to their full flavor. Each ingredient compliment the others. Great service, comfortable, clean location in the heart of Downtown Houston.

Hardly any meat on their tacos for what you pay. This is not an isolated issue either. Every time I’ve been there. Had the breakfast tacos with brisket today. The amount of brisket on them was laughable. Like maybe a 1” thin piece of brisket diced on it. Pretty done with them.

Pretty great place to stop by and grab a taco. Tried the sample plate and nachos and they were both delicious.

The tacos are just ok AND they definitely do not justify the price. 3 el pastor tacos and a fountain drink cost me over $17. And I could not say that I was full-full. Definitely not cheap. My subjective review and opinion.

Very tasty. Would be visiting again. This place has drinks which makes it a nice combination for Taco and drinks.
I took the breakfast menu and it didn't disappoint me. The ambiance of the restaurant is good.

Grilled fish tacos with mango and crunchy fish tacos with purple onion were both very good. Chicken nachos were loaded down. Nice facility, waitress could have been a little friendlier, it seemed like she didn't want to be there which made it seem like we were bothering her.

Place was a little dirty but I think they were grossly under staffed so I hope it doesn't always looks like it did. But the tacos were Ah-mazing! I ordered four (wanted to try each one on the menu) and could have easily eaten two more of the ones I did order! My favorite was the Greenwood! Will definitely come again!
