This is some of the best barbecue I have had in a long time. This is truly pit smoked barbecue! Made with a lot of love! I ordered the four meat plate to split between myself and my guest. We both were totally full and satisfied. I ordered the chicken, ribs, brisket and sausage. It was delicious! My two sides were baked beans and collard greens. They were both yummy and flavorful!
The ribs literally fell off the bone when I picked them up. They served the sauce on the side, which made it great for dipping and for me to control the amount of sauce I had with each bite. This place is small, quaint and cozy. With a feel good vibe! It felt like I was eating dinner at a family members home - that’s how comfortable you’ll feel in this restaurant.
Everyone was very polite, my food came out quickly, the temperature and the taste of every single thing was perfect! I got to meet the owner as well; he is an amazing guy with a great sense of humor! I definitely will be returning soon! He is expanding the restaurant as he has bought some of the space next-door to expand his capacity!
And did I mention you won’t break the bank when dining here and you will definitely feel satisfied all the way around!!

Look no further for the best BBQ in Houston. Always fresh the quality of their food is Grade A. The amount of food they give you for an individual can literally feed two people. I found this place two weeks ago and I am having a difficult time staying away. Thank you Lonestar Sausage & BBQ for serving the community. Lonestar Sausage & BBQ serves outstanding Texas BBQ. I ordered the 3 meat plate, and chose ribs, brisket and sausage; for sides I ordered baked beans, dirty rice and coleslaw. The meats were incredible. The brisket cut I ordered was the point/moist (fatty) cut of brisket, which was outstanding. The ribs were perfectly flavored and had great consistency. The sausage was home made and had great flavor. The portion size of the meat was enormous, I suggest if you order the 3 meat or more platter you share it between two people or plan to have leftovers.
This restaurant has seating but isn’t really a sit down restaurant. The restaurant is more suited for to-go orders. The sides were good, but the meats were outstanding. You receive a ton of food for the price, I highly recommend this restaurant to any BBQ lover.

I absolutely loved their food. The owner was very friendly and super helpful. They were great hosts. I drove 40 minutes to check this place out and didn't disappoint. We ordered 4 meats ( brisket, turkey, sausage and beef ribs). Omg the ribs were just so juicy, the brisket had a light smoky taste but it was so fricking tasty, turkey and sausage were tasty. I definitely will be coming back. I can't express how good this place is. Meats and sides are incredible. The only thing is they have a small dining area, so I would call in advance about the seating. That's why I'm guessing many call their food orders to-go. I hope yall enjoy this place. It's a hidden gem for sure. And I found them on top houston bbq list too!

This place is a gem! Workers are very courteous. Small place, three tables inside and two outside. Food is delicious. Definitely going back for more!!! They are not shy on food portions! We had enough food for two meals each.

Some great bbq. Staff was extremely friendly and great to talk to. food came out hot and quick. All of it was delicious but they put sausage in the name for a reason it was amazing and something you should definitely try if you go. Hope to come here again next time I'm in town

First, we ordered the 2 meat plate with "double ribs". 3 ribs total is double? If that's double I guess with a regular rib order, you get 1 to 2 ribs. We paid $2 extra for double and expected to have that. The meat on the bottom is brisket, which was the second meat. Anyways, the ribs were tough and chewy! There was a little lean meat on the outside and fat on the inside when you attempt to pull apart. Very disappointing how tough it was to eat. The brisket was just okay. Definitely have had better at small food trucks. The sides were the only part that gets an A for flavor and texture. I drove 33 min via toll way for this barbeque. Overall it wasn't worth the drive so unfortunately we won't be back. Plus the rude replies to the negative reviews is very telling. A professional business knows how to take criticism without going off on the customers for leaving feedback.

This place has the best brisket I've tasted in Houston. Not to mention their sides, Baked Beans and Cole Slaw is always my choice for sides. Very friendly staff and comforting atmosphere.❤️????

I ordered the 4 meat dinner with two sides (greens and macaroni). The macaroni is good and I wish I would’ve ordered more. The greens need some attention, I wish I would’ve gotten something else. The cashier/ possible owner was nice and my food came out quick. I was happy I didn’t have to tell them to put my bbq sauce on the side. The establishment is small but clean and organized. If i was given more napkins, seasoned greens, and being able to use card for dessert I would’ve put 5 stars. I will come back and try more stuff on the menu.
