Really nice service and really good rice ????.
For the most part the dishes were very flavorful and good, the twice cooked pork, the wontons, the fried prawns. However, some of the dishes were extremely salty. In particular the beef in golden soup was way too salty. I understand the soup is supposed to be more of a sauce but wow it was salty. Felt like licking a salt block.
Otherwise it was quite good.
Insanely good food!! We ordered Dry pot fish fillet, Couples lung slices, Eggplants in Spicy garlic sauce, and Red oil dumplings. The first three ones are amazingly good. The dumpling is just okay for me. Either you’re Asian like me or Western, you can’t go wrong with the first three. I promise!

Best Sichuan food I’ve had in Texas. They have a lot of really interesting dishes - the spicy green fish was one of my favorites. Be careful, you’ll really get kicked by the spice and mala. No wait when I was there (normal dinner hours on Friday) and the staff was chill.

My wife and I lived in China for many years and we heard this is the place to get authentic flavors. Each dish was delicious and we debated if the fish or the eggplant was the best of the evening.
Either way our guests were thoroughly impressed.
Did they make this cake, no, but they were nice enough to let it us bring it in.

This place absolutely lives up to the reviews. The interior is gorgeous, there's a lush bamboo-covered patio, and the food is amazing. If you want a lot of Sichuan flavor, definitely give this place a try. We had the red oil cucumber salad, the funky house noodles, and the red oil wontons, ordering just from the cold appetizers and street food menu for a quick lunch. Everything had that perfect sour/salty/spicy flavor combo I was looking for, and of course the numbing kiss of Sichuan peppercorns.

Amazing Sichuan food. Such a unique experience to have your mouth electrified by peppercorns. Everything on the menu is delicious and well done. Cool restaurant interior and great service. Macha crepe cake for dessert is wonderful

The food here was amazingly delicious!! Very nice staff, service was good and the food came out quickly. The eggplant in spicy garlic sauce was simply perfect. The dan dan noodles, mapo tofu and dry pot beef are also some of my favorite dishes. Highly recommend!

Mala Sichuan is a great dinner spot. The whole menu has very reasonable prices and every dish I’ve had here has been excellent. On top of that the service was surprisingly quick and very friendly. I genuinely have no complaints for this place, and I will definitely be coming back as well as recommending it to anyone who wants a delicious spicy Asian dinner.
Side note: they also do takeout!

This place has been my go to for Sichuan food! The service is always super fast and their food tastes consistently amazing. We always get the spicy crispy chicken and the boiled fish! Those are the best main dishes to get and I also get cumin lamb and eggplant sometimes. Our waiter Ming is fast, efficient and extremely welcoming. We sat outside this time and the greenery surrounding is super calming.

This is the real deal. Take it from someone who’s family is from Sichuan (Chengdu) and would visit almost every year growing up, and who has super high standards for Sichuan food. Authentic authentic authentic!!! Plus, really sophisticated and authentic atmosphere / decor which would be great for a special occasion / date. Feels like I’m back in Chengdu at a nice restaurant!
Highly recommend the lamb ribs and couples lung slices (trust me, it’s not what it sounds like). The mung bean noodles were great too! Prices were super fair, especially for the high quality.
Overall great experience and would 10/10 recommend to anyone.
