Decided to have dinner here before a concert at House of Blues on a Monday night. We were seated immediately and the staff was attentive. My husband and I shared the kobe beef burger, grilled asparagus, and truffle mac and cheese. I loved that the kitchen split the burger for us so we didn't have to fight over the bigger half after one of us inevitably cut it wrong. Portions are incredibly generous and food is excellent. We sadly couldn't finish it all, but we enjoyed every bite.

I love this place. We dined in on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy only about 10+ other people there and a group at the bar, the vibe was romantic/cozy. The ambiance was relaxing. We chose seating in a booth near a window for a view of the street. Our waitress was so sweet, she made sure my husbands steak was cooked to his liking and did a great job of checking in on us. The food was very good and portioned well, the alcoholic beverages were just as excellent. My cranberry mule was simply delightful, the salmon was nothing short of delicious and the asparagus was seasoned/prepared to perfection. The dessert menu has so many options, there is something for everyone. We shared the pineapple butter cake with ice cream, and what a way to top off our meal; it was sooooo good. Buttery, moist and light, the cinnamon rly made it mellow.

So good and welcoming!! We went when they were busy without a reservation and they let us sit at the bar tables with a great view of the city street.
The food was so good and the waitress was really fun and kind! She even suggested for us to combine the 2 bar tables when we had too much food on the table and had no room to eat lol.
ALSO - the DESSERTS!! AMAZING! The Chocolate Paper Bag and the Crème Brûlée were so good I’m glad we stayed for dessert. Want to go back!

I've been to this M&S location several times. This evening the food and service was just about perfect. Excellent flavors and superb presentation. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, and on point! My only complaint is that it's fairly expensive compared to other similar restaurants. But I'd still recommend and will certainly be back.

Low review is due to understaffing and just-ok entrees. The host & server were very nice. We were seated quickly. Mocktails we’re delicious. Octopus & lobster bisque were great for appetizers. Delicious bread basket. Our entrees were only ok. My scallop pasta had tiny, not excellent scallops, and the pasta lacked flavor. We waited a long time for dessert menu, and then another 15 minutes before my husband got up to find our server to just get the bill. I heard a staff member mention understaffing, so I can’t fault the server. Wouldn’t go back for the high prices and slow service.

Had a reservation, which was honored quickly. Our server was impeccable with his recommendations and efficiency.
The food was the best I had in Houston, and I'd visited a steakhouse the prior evening that was 3 times the price who couldn't hold a candle to this place. My steak was prepared truly medium-well with perfectly sautéed shrimp.
The entire meal was expertly done, and my extremely finicky eater sister even enjoyed the salmon.
The cocktail champagne spritzer was yummy. The cocktail menu had a good variety.
The venue is conveniently located a couple of blocks from the convention center. It was adjacent to our hotel, the Laura Hotel.

We had a great evening. Most the food was definitely delicious. Wife didn’t enjoy the chicken. The seasoning was a little off. But the service and atmosphere and all other food was so good.

We went last night, there were 7 of us, it was a special surprise dinner for my family before going to a Christian Christmas Concert at The Toyota Center. I did A LOT of research on downtown restaurants before deciding on this one. The food was very good, the atmosphere was very nice, the location was great. But unfortunately our service was NOT what a restaurant with these prices should offer! I was more zestfully descriptive of menu item recommendations than she was and that was just from reading all the reviews. I then had to go ask the hostess to have our waitress please come back to our table because we had all been sitting there with empty glasses and dirty appetizer plates for a while with our waitress nowhere in site. Spending this much money on a dining experience is something my family has only done one other time, it was planned to be a truly magical evening. We still had a wonderful night, and my family was so appreciative! It is just disappointing to not be able to give the entire experience a five star rating especially since it came with a 5 star price! The apple pie was absolutely delicious, much better than the little fancy chocolate basket dessert that’s their signature dessert.

Good place. Not quite enough to earn a 5-star but good, dependable food and great service.
Prices may be a big higher than I would normally pay for the food being served but the atmosphere is good, wait staff is incredibly attentive, and overall keeps a good image for the brand.
Will remain on my list of restaurants to take customers in the Houston area.

Came here for dinner and happy hour after work. I loved everything about this place. I looked up the menu before heading here and saw the fish tacos and man was I glad I ordered them. Very good portion for the cost and the flavor was unbeatable. For appetizers I tried the calamari, which was delicious, and fries. I highly recommend this place to others and will definitely be back.

They have an outstanding happy hour! We sat out on the patio and ordered a few items off the happy hour menu. They also have special pricing on wine by the glass. Our waiter was great, very attentive and kept my tea refilled. The calamari was a little more crispy veggies with a little calamari but still enjoyable and the dipping marinara sauce was so good!
