Fast and friendly service. We got our food ten minutes, maybe even less than that. They offer a patio and inside option. It was a great day when we went, so we decided to sit in the patio section. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. We went around 11-11:30 in the morning and was at by noonish. The food was enjoyable; however the side of hash brown lacked flavor and crunchiness. That’s my only complaint other than that …I’d go again :)
This is a great diner. It used to be open 24/7 but not after COVID. Their secret is chicken soup. A couple bowls of that could cure cancer. Hefty portions.

I just visited this place for the first and last time this morning. We arrived at 8:30am. My friend and I was served lukewarm water in cloudy cups. So we asked for alternative drinks(coffee and orange juice). The Hispanic witness was not pleasant and was not confident in her job duties . My friend asked “how much will it be to add additional toppings” Her response “ 2.00 but I really don’t know, I have to see what the computer says”. It was like pulling teeth to get her to check the actual price. So we ordered the food. Food arrived at 9:14am. My friend took a picture of the food. I looked down and noticed a hair on my pancakes(pictured). We told her it was hair...she act like she didn't see it at first . She Took the plate to the back and came back with it saying I checked the ladies in the the back and its not theirs
So we asked where did the hair come from, she say maybe it's yours. I asked how is it mine when my hair is in a ponytail away from my face. You on the hand. No hair net, gloves or mask for that matter with bangs on your forehead. So continue to say we fixing new pancakes while still accusing me putting hair in my food. At this point, I am insulted so I said I was leaving and never coming back because she refused to bring out the manager because she stated she was the manager. I advised her to do better and I would never return.

Place is kind of dirty and smells musty. We ordered the fish and chips. Typical frozen fries and fish was fine but portion was less than a kids meal. Only received 3 slightly larger than a nugget size pieces. Ranch on salad was really thin and watery. Was excited to find a local diner type place but I just paid $42 including tip for 2 kids meals.

One Saturday evening I was in the mood for chicken fried steak. I asked Google and happened upon this restaurant in Midtown.
The food was good and service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is located in an old converted house on West Gray near Taft. They have a large, covered front porch dining area.

Great food, great prices, great environment, terrible waitress. The lady that walks with a limp is very angry some days. I first witness her argue with a customer because they asked for a Diet Coke and was given a regular one. She caught an attitude with me recently because I asked for sweetener after I came their for a takeout order. The very next time I “mysteriously” received absolutely no condiments, no napkins and no silverware. I’ve been to this restaurant enough to know she puts those items in every to go order. I’m pretty sure the negative comments about the “rude” waitress is her. Sad….

Came here for brunch because we were slow rolling our lives one Sunday morning, not because we were hung over, but because we were just literally busy and not in a rush.
We sat on the patio because the weather was so amazing!! In fact, it was a little bit chilly for my Houstonian bones.
I ended up getting a tea, and it tasted a bit sour. I don't think it was fresh at all. I ordered the omelette with pico and other stuff. It was so delicious!
This place is cool because it's literally open all night long, so if you are needing a late night fix, early morning breakfast or mid-day meal, they got ya back!

This is a cute neighborhood diner. The food is similar what you would expect to get at a Dennys or IHOP. Have both breakfast and lunch options. The waitress was super nice and friendly. The food did take a while to come out (close to 20 minutes) but sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and each other's company so were in no rush.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!
I made an order for me and my co-worker via UberEats and the experience was not pleasant at all. I ordered a "Waffle Breakfast Platter" and "Cheese Grits". My co-worker ordered the "Salmon Platter". To start off, their presentation and portions is not on point and it certainly is not worth the price they ask for. My cheese grits tasted horrible, they did not have flavor. The cheddar cheese was not properly stirred in the grits and it taste like soggy undercooked rice. The scrambled eggs had a funny smell to it and did not taste good at all. My waffle was soggy and they overloaded it with blueberries which was not great at all. My co-worker salmon was way to over seasoned and her sides were not flavorful at all. The only thing that tasted good was my apple juice and my co-workers Sprite. At this point, all I want is a refund for my entire order and nothing else since UberEats finds my experience not good enough to be reimbursed.
