amazing service, excellent food, and affordable prices.
Even though the Restaurant is quite small and in the busy Rice Village, it makes up for it, with friendly service, and delicious food. we tried the Lasagna, veal marsala, and Fettucine alfredo, I highly recommend all three, you can tell right away that everything is made fresh, and I really like the fact that they are very flexible with addon's and substitutions on the menu. A special thanks to Daniel, Carlos for the amazing service!!
We were only in for an appetizer and a drink and left very pleased with the visit. Bar tender was quick and drinks were yummy. Also ordered the crab fingers and they were excellent. Place was clean and atmosphere was very calm and child free. A good place to relax after work and eat a good meal.

I have been coming to Salento since I was a baby with my mom! Always a classic when I’m in town. Kind staff and chill European vibe, right in the heart of rice village. Their over night oats are so good

After reading reviews I had higher expectations for this place. We started off by asking recommendations from our server who said the calamari was their top seller and the crab cakes were not. The crab cakes were awesome and the calamari was average. Mista salad was bland, veal was chewy, and the risotto had no flavor. However the red snapper was delicious! The breading was light yet crunchy. I will be back to try a few more things on the menu before giving up or recommending to others.

I have been going to this place for 26 years. But, last time I was there was about 6 years ago. I finally visited it last week again.it was sad to see it so rundown and along with decor the quality of food has " run down" too. Not going back there again till they redecorate and start cooking like they used to. Also, It use to have an atmosphere of eating in a posh restaurant and now, it has an atmosphere of eating in a cheap , rundown bar. Maybe management has changed?

The food is amazing! Best Italian food I've tasted by far. They have so many delicious plates to choose from. The drink selection is great, and Desserts are a plus! They give excellent service and give you great recommendations as well. My server went above and beyond during the time I was there, best experience ever. Definitely coming back! *Ask for Michael F.

The ravioli was very flavorful. The Blueberry lemonade cocktail was so perfectly made I couldn't taste the alcohol! Our waiter was amazing at his job!

Went there for a regular Sunday lunch. They have a light Italian music on the background. the place smells like cheese and wine. Huge wine selection to drink from. Staff were nice too. We ordered their lasagna, meatballs and chicken parmesan; were completely satisfied. Definitely will come back.

Ordered the Houston Restaurant Week option of burrata, salmon with brocollini and lemon risotto, and tiramisu. A-mazing! The skin crusting on the fish was perfect. I ate most of the fresh bread and garlic basil infused olive oil. So tasty and nice ambiance!

Calamari was a good value in terms of size for the money, but not for taste. ????
Prego ravioli was very flavorful with well cooked mushrooms and tasty vodka tomato sauce. Would have been better with less cheese stuffed in the pasta replaced by mushroom or spinach.
Will return for vibes ???????????? ????????
