Best pupusas in Houston…period. The aesthetic of the place is very homey and welcoming. Takes you to your childhood when your Salvadorian mom would make food on Sundays. Don’t skip out on their aguas frescas either.

One thing I hate is when I try to go somewhere and they don’t have 1 person that speaks English. It’s ridiculous! Then I call and they just hang up because I don’t speak Spanish. Do better!

Pupusas were absolutely delicious! There’s a woman who makes them at my job and I dare say these might be better, if possible. Good combination of cornmeal and other goodies. I will be back.

The best spot in Houston. If you’ve never been to El Salvador with each bite you take from their pupusas it feels like a step you take in El Salvador thats how Authentic this place is. Also very friendly staff wherewver you come from the trip will be well worth it????????

Went here for breakfast. I order the medium done sunny side up eggs with plantains, sour cream, and refried beans. The food was prepared quickly and brought in a timely manner. Coffee was self serve but was fresh and of decent quality. The star of the show were the eggs. At first it seemed as if they were over coocked, but when I broke the yolk there nice and runny, very well coocked. Plantains were nice and sweet but a bit ripe for my taste. Nothing special about the sour cream and beans, but the cheese was excellent. It was one of those crumbly cheeses that is not salty but a bit mushy. I asked for sausage and got some fried hot dog????. Overall good enough experience to return. A little side not, as we dine it got super busy, line out the door. 8:30am when we arrived.

Very yummy food. Typical Salvadorian food! Very affordable and very quick service. They could have a line all the way to the door and i don’t think i have ever waited more than 10-15min ! And your food comes out nice and hot! Definitely recommend if your coming for breakfast or to try Salvadorian food for the first time!

Pricing is perfect and the pupusas are wonderful for a cheap and filling meal. The staff was very helpful and offered recommendations. You order and pay first and then can get a plate of included cabbage with spicy tomato sauce. The yucca fries, fried pork, and pork pupusas were all very good and filling.

I've only tried one kind of pupusa and I liked it! I'm looking forward to trying the various kinds they have. So far so good! Our fist time I think we ordered about 20 (to go) which we had to wait for because rather than give us some from the tray they gave us some really good piping hot from the grill. I thought that was awesome! Also the eating area was really neat and clean! Very nice little pupuseria. ????
