I got the 3 meat platter with double brisket and jalapeño and cheese sausage along with the hot sauce they have. Ughh so good. The macaroni and mashed potatoes were also nice a thick. I almost ashamed I did order more or the banana pudding they have! If I weren’t trying to be good I’d order more ! I will be back again to try the other items ! I drove 45 min to try this place and left happy!
The parking lot is a bit small but somehow there was no line and waiting on this Saturday around 2PM. So happy about that too! Maybe it’s a miracle thing ? Not sure how busy they get. The inside is spacious and has a western rustic theme. It was easy to order and felt like most BBQ set ups.
This is the best brisket I’ve eaten in my life. The meat is fall-apart tender, with just the right amount of smokey flavor. The sides are very good too. I tried the Texas caviar and was not disappointed. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious! I believe the 3 meat plate is the best bargain…gives you a chance to try a lot. We got pork belly, brisket, and pork ribs. We had to try the sausage so we got a side order of it.

This place is wonderful
My last day in Houston and definitely wanted some good BBQ and got this place recommended. Lunch rush definitely got the food moving and my three meats were pork belly at the top then brisket in the middle and pulled pork at the bottom with Mac and cheese with dirty rice. The Mac and cheese was delicious as it was very creamy and thick, noodles holding that cheese and not watery. The dirty rice was good but the sausage made it even better.
The pork belly was tender and seasoned well and little sauce of that mild BBQ sauce made it better, the pulled pork I really loved especially the fatty pieces mixed in, just gave it that extra and the brisket was good probably could have been Marinating alittle longer to give it That extra flavor. Still loved this place overalls

Brisket was fall apart tender with a heavy dose of pepper. 5 stars
Boudin texture isn't for me, but my friends all enjoyed it. I enjoyed the other sausage that was also stuffed with cheese.
Their white bread was fluffy, soft and individually wrapped I'm guessing to maintain that.
The pulled pork was fine, but I'd definitely get the brisket as my first option.
The bourbon banana pudding was another 5 star item for me .
Service was very friendly. I like seeing when workers enjoy their work environment.
Parking is available in a small to medium size lot. It's kind of shared but not really?
There is patio seating on two sides of the restaurant.
Not much for pokemon stop here.

Every time, when someone from abroad come to visit us, this is a place that we go, to have the “Texas experience”. A wonderful spot and a local that make traditional Texas BBQ.
I like the ambiance, very country ( sturdy tables and a lot of hardwood). Accompanied with good music like grunch, rock, some country.
All meats are delicious, but my favorite is the brisket and my husband prefer the ribs. It really depends each person preference. Also sides are very good, they taste like homemade.
Staff on the counter is very friendly and super efficient. There are different plates that you can order, their size depend how hungry you are. But there is also the option to order your meats per pound. I like second option more, when we are with family, because we can order some extra and have leftovers for to go. And, next day we prepare for breakfast the best brisket quesadillas in the world!
Highly recommended come here for a hearty and meaty meal!

I came here in search of lamb brisket and although lamb brisket is no longer on the menu their traditional brisket did not disappoint. After parking I walked up and discovered a line to get in which I took as a good sign. Went in and was not disappointed the brisket was moist flavorful and the mac and cheese was made just right. My philosophy is that great bbq doesn’t need sauce and as you can see in the picture this plate passed the test and remained sauce free throughout its consumption with the exception of one bite so I could see how their sauce favored. If I was in the area I would definitely check this place out again.

Came to this place a few weeks back after being disappointed with Blood Bros. And I’m slapping myself because I should have came here first. The customer service is on point . I informed the guy that it was my first time and he offered some of his favorites and I can say he was spot on. Sausage was the star of the show. The jalapeño cheese sausage was amazing. Brisket was moist and had excellent bark. Just the right amount of pepper. The ribs offered clean bites to the bone, not over cooked to fall apart, but just right to bite and get some get tender meat. Sides of loaded potatoes and potatoes salad were excellent choices as well.

Got here an hour before closing and the food was great. Brisket and turkey were pretty good. Brisket not too rich tasting just the right amount of fat. Turkey was cooked well, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes were also good. I find that sides are always lacking at BBQ places but ,at least for me and compared to other places, the 2 listed sides were better than usual. Definitely come check this place out.

My top pick for brisket, but everything is great here! Easily the best brisket in Houston. This place is consistent, the quality is always top notch. They put just as much effort into their sides. Caviar, Mac n cheese, and potato salad are may faves but they are all great. This is the perfect, balanced bbq sauce. Don't miss out on the house made pickles!!!! As an added bonus, Bruce is always ready with a smile to take your order.
