I have heard such good things about this place. Today I finally got to sink my teeth into a mouth watering carne guisada taco. Not into meat? I also had the Verde taco, a black bean base taco with a savory medley of grilled zucchini, squash and onions. I loved the fountain drink options, do yourself a favor a splurge on some mind blowing mango or piña soda.

I ordered three chicken tacos. The food was good! The margaritas- meh- (A little too sweet for my liking).

The service was nice. This was the first restaurant I chose on my first night in Houston. I was thankful to have had found this place. It was walking distance from my lodging.

Alittle hole in the wall that you must have good eyes to find.

This was good as I did like the pastor and Carne tacos. Meat was juicy and had a good amount of seasoning, the lamb Barbacoa was meh as it could have been seasoned more and lamb stands out, it was alittle on the dry side so was the Pollo as it didn't have much seasoning and they could have done alittle better keeping the skin for the Pollo or using a different cut.

The Pastor on flour was ok I guess, but growing up in Houston with amazing tacos, this pastor is not close to the top of my list or even middle...

Next, the Pollo Guisado.
I'm sorry, but it's just not good. I didn't even finish it. Took one bite and set it aside. Dry chicken, bland flavor. Not. Good. And I've been fasting all day yet would rather not finish the taco than be full.

I had the Grilled Fish taco and the Brisket taco. Both were amazing. The brisket taco had jalapeño slices piled on it alongside pickled red onions. The tortilla was crispy, but still fluffy. The fish taco was refreshing and had a nice kick of spice to it. I opted for the whole grain tortilla with this one, and was not disappointed. The Horchata was sweet, but not overpowering...could have used a touch more cinnamon, but that's personal preference. 10/10 will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Texas

Found through searching for taco places while on vacation and they did not disappoint! got a pollo guisado and pastor 2 taco plate with rice and beans - rice was standard, beans had good flavor, both tacos BOMB! interior has a great vibe and fits in with the weirdness of the neighborhood well.

I found this place years ago when it first opened. The area has gentrification now but food remains great.

I am glad it has survived the pandemic. I don't know how the owner always manages to find great customer service oriented staff. Never left unsatisfied.

Great food at reasonable prices with great service. What more could you ask? One of their competitors has been expanding like crazy but they cannot match Taco A Go Go

I don't go anywhere else for a Taco

Laid back taco spot great mix of Tex Mex and some tacos with a Houston BBQ twist. Service was fast and our server by the name of Pilar was super hospitable.

Great place the service was fast and the tacos were even better. I honestly just Googled places to eat while I was in the area and this place came up first. The atmosphere was that old rancho like, western style, with nice art work. I would definitely eat here again.

Great spot I found by accident while riding my bike downtown. Cool cinema noir decor, great vibe, cool staff, diverse hip clientele (seems to be popular w Rice students). Taco were prepared w free ingredients & love and care. I recommend & will be back.

Super delicious! Ordered the Pollo Guisado, Pastor street taco, and the nachos a gogo tots edition! Also has chips and salsa and queso blanco! Everything was literally fresh off the grill. Including fresh hot tortilla chips and you know how amazing those are! If you're in Houston you have to check this place out!

Tacos A Go Go never disappoint me! The food is always fresh and served hot. They also offer many different combinations of tacos and burritos. A bonus is the vegetarian options are delicious as well.
