Hadn't eaten here in years. I was passing by yesterday and made a point to stop in today. I had forgotten how good their food is. I got it to go and barely kept myself from diving in on the way home it smelled so good.. Definitely worth the trip.
Standard burger with fresh ingredients. What makes this place unique is the welcoming vibe and nostalgic decorations!

I was hoping this burger would be great and we love supporting small businesses. All the reviews were on point. Our burgers were flavorless. Like the patty was not seasoned at all. The fries weren’t hot or fresh. The cashier was kinda dry, but whatever. There was one other table occupied besides us. No one came to see if we were ok, so don’t expect any service beyond your order but I wasn’t expecting it either based on the interaction with the cashier. For as empty as it was I thought it could’ve been cleaner. Sewer smell in the restroom area. Honestly, as soon as we walked in, I knew this wasn’t the spot. Sticky floors and the place seemed dark. I’m so upset I wasted my cheat day on this spot. Honestly could’ve just gone to McDonalds for this. Save your money and time. Maybe it was an off day but we will never go back. It was so disappointing, we didn’t, well we couldn’t even finish it. :(

I was in the mood for a burger but not a drive-thru burger so I asked Google for best burgers near me. Texas Hamburger Palace was right around the corner from the office and had good reviews. So my co-worker and I headed out. The inside was actually larger than I expected. Old time decor that had a perfect burger joint feel to it. I got the blue cheese burger w/fries. My co-worker got the old fashion combo. Price wise was more expensive than my local Burger Barn but less than Red Robin. My burger was blah my co-worker shared that thought. The tomatoes were not ripe. The blue cheese was loaded on the burger (not in a good way) and normally that would result a great flavor but this blue cheese may have not been the best, was old or low quality. The burger itself needed basic salt and pepper. However, the fries were good. The kind with just enough potato skin on the ends that made you want to believe they are fresh (but let's be clear they are not In-N-Out). These are probably frozen not fresh cut but they do season them we'll and taste awesome. I wasn't wowed by my food like the reviews so I wanted to give this place another try. I went back about a week ago and ordered the Philly cheese steak w/ fries to go. Loved everything about the sandwich except the steak. Again this needed salt and pepper. The steak was cut in giant slices and not thin at all or small. Extremely fatty and was just the wrong cut if beef for a cheese steak. I feel like it was skirt steak with to much membrane left on it. The consistency was all wrong for a cheese steak. But the fries were awesome.

This little gem in the corner of a nearly empty shopping strip that many have probably passed by a thousand times. It's a real old timey hamburger joint, not sure how long it's been here . I been passing by it for years, I remember eating here ages ago when this was a happening area of town booming with businesses. The businesses have disappeared but the Palace continues to make some awesome burgers and other great dishes. For me I just love the Cheeseburger and Fries. I love the all the hip decor and the wooden tables. They are probably the only joint in town with a cigarette machine(not working). Brought back memories of when I smoked, and made me grateful I quit. If you are out that way and want an awesome burger, get Googles Maps and put in 5757 Ranchester Dr. #1700! Peace out!

Very difficult to spot from the road, and the food was ok a little too greasy for my liking. The decor and ambiance were excellent, staff friendly and courteous. Most of the people I was with liked their burgers and sweet potato fries. I had the blackened fish sandwich, which was just ok.

Hands down one of the best burgers in town. Family place. Very wide open inside, good vibe. A few TVs that I found a bit distracting. Excellent place for large or small gatherings. Burger was big, came piping hot, great flavor and the perfect oose factor. Nicely done. I will definitely go back.

Nice sloppy traditional bacon cheeseburger with onion rings for about ten bucks. This place open back in the 80s, and you can tell. But honestly who cares when you get good food at an affordable price. My buddy got a burger fries and drink combo for $10 and was happy with his as well.
