Was in town for a convention. This was within walking distance of the convention center. Love this place, a great atmosphere with some unique food choices. Food was very good. Service was spot on. What a great time. Can get crowded during peak times. You need to check this place out.
Friendly service. Good food although in very small portions. The brunch is more of a taste test. The muffin was as small as the 1 blackberry. Drinks, you get your money's worth. Our dessert was so unappealing. The sauce was so watered down you couldn't even taste the strawberry syrup. The cake did have a nice flavor I'm guessing from the cool whip and strawberries. We did finish it. I ordered an extra side of grits. You can't go wrong with them although you might think it's cornbread. The white gravy sauce, I could do without. All around we had a good time!

First time visiting The Rustic and it was awesome!! The huge, open space made for a great atmosphere. The food was fantastic and service was good too! There's a large stage for live music and performances and just before we left a band was getting started but we were already on our way out. So now I have an excuse to go back and catch some live music! Overall great experience and I would recommend this place.

A friend and I paid the Rustic a visit this past Saturday. Overall it was a good experience. I’ll be honest, this is not a place that i would be crazy about visiting again. Don’t get me wrong, everything tasted good but there was nothing that really stood out about this place to me.
Nevertheless, this place is really large in the inside and had live music. It had a really nice vibe and our waiter was very nice. Service could have been better but I do understand that it was a busy night because of the Astros game. This place is worth a try if you haven’t been.

The rustic has been a place that I've wanted to visit for a while. We finally made it in this morning around 11:15am and there was hardly anyone there. We were seated immediately and offered drinks. We ordered a bloody Mary and mimosa. We thought about ordering a pitcher but couldn't agree on what to drink haha! Then we ordered two brunch specials and man did we get our money's worth. The family-style spread was delicious, fresh, and rustic. Everything from the baby kale greens to the hot chicken to the doughnuts in a cup. We left feeling full and happy. Will definitely tell others about the rustic and make it a brunch staple.

We came for Mother's day and even though we didn't make reservations it was quick and convenient for us to get seated, we just had to wait for the rest of our party. Which was understandable. I will definitely recommend this place to other people and I'll definitely be back. Service was great so was the food. You won't be disappointed if you come here.

This is a great restaurant that makes you feel you are in Texas. Seating is in a covered open-air barn style that has a great 'rustic' vibe. It is a large restaurant so don't expect a cozy feel - quite the opposite! It is busy, loud and has high quality live music. However, I encourage you to check the music schedule before you go. I enjoyed 20 minutes of music before it wrapped up and was told the next band would not begin for 90 minutes. Perhaps this was because I went during a Rocket's game (to avoid the crowds) but this was a major reason I went and it was very disappointing. I ate at the bar due to the crowds. Service was passable but in the style of “I’m busy but I guess I need to serve you”. The cedar plank salmon was excellent. It’s the first cedar-plank I’ve had that had charred/burned cedar. The smoky flavor was amazing and was really enjoyed. It came with a tiny tamale that had great flavor. However, the portion was not very large and I left hungry. Perhaps order a side if you’re of average or above-average appetite. In summary, a fun experience that was not quite great.

Great venue. The decor, tiered layout, big stage, the bar, the food presentation all great. The appetizers were really good but my Nashville Hot Chicken should be renamed. It was either made incorrectly or whoever named it has no clue because there was nothing remotely hot about it. The salmon burger was good but surprisingly fishy tasting. The quesadilla was loaded and very good. The premium mango margarita with the tequila popsicle was the best. I would definitely return for the atmosphere. Cool space to see a live performance.

The best tamales I ever had! It was gone in 60 seconds... ???? The Banana Pudding was attacked by my family, too.
Overall, we had a very nice experience there.. Our server was great, food was superb, place is super nice too.... We will definitely come back...????

I had an amazing brunch experience. I was so satisfied. It was totally worth the price ???? I was literally there for a layover going to El Paso from Miami. Neat experience. Live music ???? was great ???? The cowboy ???? type of setting is very cool. Great people and very friendly staff. Although I feel some of the staff needs to be more precarious when placing food on the table. Mimosas were great and the female who took care of me was amazing. Only thing is I feel the glass should be a champagne glass. She was a black beautiful young female. Soo cute. Valet parking and lots of parking. Anyways, I am going to give a 5 star over all just because it made my day ❤️????????????????
