Love the twisty donuts!
07-31-2022 I just wanted to do an update on my first review this is the best kept secret on the northside! Their bakery goods are always fresh and the staff is really nice. They work long hours and the they turn out the best pastries I've ever eaten. If you should get the chance please stop by and try this place. Twisty donuts still my favorite.

I am an old customer and I love their pastry. It's to die for. Yesterday Saturday I was craving it so bad, I took the time to go and purchased conchas, doughnuts, and curnitos and the very next morning I wanted to enjoy it with coffee but to my surprise everything was hard as a rock unable to enjoy anything. It must have been few days old very disappointed customer this had never happened to me. I was upset because its far away from my house and unable to drive back.

Maura's had a large variety of baked goods. Even on a Sunday at 4 pm. I bought 2 pecan sandies, a mini oreo cake, 3 danishes with cream cheese, and 2 pumpkin empanadas all for under $7. Nice light tasting recipes. I'm visiting SA and trying as many small businesses as I can. This was a good Mom and Pop stop!

I was excited to try this bakery but was disappointed by the level of customer service I received. The quality of the bread was great, but the lady behind the counter was rude. She seemed to be bothered and in a rush to get me out of the store. I was ofended when she tried to charge me for a box after I purchased a high volume of bread. I will not go out of my way to return to this bakery. Very disappointed

Just what to expect from a great Mexican bakery. Good quality and fast service.
This place is great not like the competitors up the street Myra's is fully stocked for our Mexican bread cravings.

Lovely bakery and the pastries are so soft and delicious. Our first foray into Mexican pastries and it was a success. We also got some glazed donuts and cinnamon rolls, both of which were some of the best I've had. The employees were very polite as well--go check it out if you haven't.
