I typically don’t write reviews but this one is needed. My mom and I wanted to enjoy a nice steak dinner so naturally we chose a steakhouse (had I read other reviews before going we would not have went). The steak menu is pretty pricey so I was expecting an amazing meal. I ordered a medium ribeye and salad. The first steak I got was completely well done and hard to cut. I would have sucked it up and ate it had this not been a forty six dollar steak. We sent it back and asked for the steak I ordered. The second steak was rare and barely cooked and when I showed the waiter he agreed and took it back to try for a third time. The third steak was rare as well and at this point I was so disappointed and tired of being at this restaurant (my mom was finished with her meal) that I wanted to leave. I told the staff that the third steak was rare as well and that we would pay but I think it’s a little ridiculous that a steak house doesn’t know how to cook a steak, mind you this is a forty six dollar steak that we were charged for that was wrong three times. My advice to anyone that reads this is to save your money, you are better off at Texas Roadhouse. The waiter was really nice and understanding but overall it was a horrible experience with a hefty bill.
We went to dinner here for restaurant week on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed the meal. For me, the highlights were the lobster bisque and of course, the steaks. The Lobster bisque had chunks of lobster, was rich and left me wanting more. We ordered the ribeye and New York steak with a medium cook. Both were perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. We had the macaroni and cheese and chipotle mashed potatoes which, while not as remarkable, were still great companions to the delicious steaks. We finished with a chocolate mouse cake which was soft and just dense enough to complement the mouse layers. Our waiter was especially attentive despite being the only waiter for several tables. The owner came by our table to check on our experience which I thought was nice. Amazing steakhouses like this are not to be missed during restaurant week for the incredible deal or anytime to splurge for a celebration or personal treat.

We had an amazing night celebrating a friends birthday. The food was so good. We started with the charcuterie and lobster cargot. The charcuterie was beautiful and delicious. The only thing we kinda missed was olives. The cargot was rich and creamy and so damn good! The service was prompt and friendly. Tony was great! We could tell they were busy with a couple large parties seated next to us but we never felt neglected. Our entree selections included ribeye, filet mignon, baked potato, creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. All perfectly prepared to our specifications and absolutely delicious. The chef came by to make sure our steaks were to our liking and even posed for a picture. That’s always elevates the dining experience. The band Coffeehouse Heroes, played a great selection of favorites that everyone enjoyed and they stopped by to say hi on their way out. We finished our meal with the crème brûlée which was light and decadent. Thank you all for making this evening a huge success. We will be back and we will send our friends!

Atmosphere was wonderful! I sat at the bar and Josh provided EXCELLENT customer service and although he was busy he made sure to check on me every chance he had. You can't find customer service like that anymore. Plus, the creme brulee was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Would definitely recommend this hidden gem!

I am writing this review in hopes that this place will get better. We were there last night celebrating my daughter’s graduation. The experience started off great with our server taking our drink and appetizer orders. We put in our dinner orders and it went downhill after that. The food came out in sections. First, the pasta dishes, then the steaks and then my brother’s lobster. Our server “auctioned” off our food saying, “Who’s got the Tuscan pasta?” or “Who’s got the medium rare ribeye?” For a $100 per person average restaurant, this is a no-no. They completely forgot my son’s salmon dish and our server disappeared. My mom asked for Tabasco but she didn’t get it for 15 minutes. Rather than acknowledging that they forgot my son’s dish and comping it, he ate when everyone else was finished with their meals. I’m also glad we looked at our bill because they didn’t tell us that gratuity was already included. I would have ended up giving him another $200 on our nearly $1,000 bill. Our celebration was marred by this experience. Now, all my family remembers is the service and sub-par food.
If you want to be in the same class as Myron’s or Perry’s or J Alexander’s, you’ve got to up your game. Otherwise, lower your prices and be more like Texas Roadhouse.

Stopped in for dinner last night had a wonderful experience. Ribeye special was absolutely wonderful perfectly cooked and seasoned beautifully. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were also fantastic. Atmosphere was quite and very enjoyable. Also note worthy the bread is top notch.

Truly wish this could be a higher rating.. I really wanted to like this place- and we were there to celebrate a family birthday! Alas - our order was nearly all completely wrong - never got wedge salads served before few of the steaks arrived (cooked incorrectly and served to the wrong people.) Baked potatoes forgotten- grilled asparagus forgotten - extra shrimp on the pasta order forgotten - and our birthday boy was the last one to get his undercooked steak and the “cut” of the steak was not the most flavorful. They did bring our salads in to go containers after we ate our steak ... but the apology sliver of cheesecake served literally yielded 1 “taste” of meh slice for our 6 in attendance. For the price - I expected more like j prime or perry’s quality. It was very slow to make it to the table - but they were maybe 25% full in dining room. The potential is there for this to be a great steak experience- but they really missed the mark last night. I won’t return- just too many missed opportunities for them to show how much they really care about doing a good job with service? I’m not sure if it’s a wait staff issue or a kitchen production issue or both - but they can practice on someone else next time. Good thing we still enjoyed hanging with our family and friends - cause we just enjoy each other - we could’ve done that at olive garden too lol! I do hope they figure it out - stone oak convenient steak has a market (if they don’t mess it up!) Good luck ! PS It is very dark in here!

Came here because I was in the area and was waiting for the green lantern bar to open. Overall worth it if you want a decent dinner and are in the area, however food was good but not great, and the restaurant was eerily empty for a $$$ restaurant on a Saturday night. Steak was medium well instead of medium rare and the cream spinach was very tasty but extremely soupy- total waste of most of the bowl because once I fished out all the spinach I was basically left with half a bowl of cream soup. Service was a tad slow for being so empty but not unbearably so. Bartender was new but very sweet and made a good martini.

Made reservations weeks in advance, they failed to inform us the HVAC was not functioning. We walk in and the entrance was hot and humid. No hostess to greet us. Then we are seated at our table and it is even hotter. They have this huge dirty machine blowing hot air in the restaurant. Temperature on the unit marked 81/82 degrees. We decided to give it a try either way. We had a reservation for 6, there was only 4 of us there. We were still waiting on the rest of the party. We ordered 2 appetizers: the bread was hard and stale, the charcuterie board did not have all the items listed on the menu, the wine we ordered was hot and the spinach dip was watery. We were extremely disappointed! Ask to speak to the manager, ended up being the owner. Informed him of everything and he right away tried arguing with us about the quality and menu items. I told him we just wanted to pay and leave. He had the audacity to charge us for everything, even though we left it all there as you can see in the photos attached. To top it off he charged us gratuity even though there were only 4 of us. Absolutely worst place ever!!!
