Overall good experience. We had a reservation at 5:30 and we got there 15 min late due to traffic. But they were kind enough to hold our spot we sat around 6pm and it was a great spot right close to the window. The tower spins but definitely slow enough for you to barely even feel it. Which is great. Food and drinks I think were fair for the price. We enjoyed some delicious drinks and the food was very good as well. I will note that we took our 5 month old and it was a good place to have her didn’t feel “out of place”. However our food came out around an hour and a half later. We ordered 3 steak and 2 shrimp plates, after the long wait for our food our waiter came to tell us that she forgot to ring my husbands food in that took an additional 25 min luckily my husband is very patient and they did comp the plate. I rated this on the overall price and experience and because I know incidents happen and that forgetting to ring in food is a very rare ocasión. I would recommend for a date night but taking family is a great experience too
The Chart House hand down was the best meal I have had in months. Everything cooked to perfection and Amazing 5 start quality! The service was fantastic, I had to make to a flight so our 4 course meal went without a hitch. Next time I'm in San Antonio I'm coming back. The decor needs updating but the views, service and food absolutely make up for the tired decor.

Came here for happy hour. The entire staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It was a great experience. There is a beautiful view. I had the fish tacos and tempura shrimp. They were both very delicious. I also had a margarita that my server had recommended. It was so good I ordered a second! ????

Celebrated my wife birthday here. The view was amazing and the food was great. I had the panned chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. She had the three course meal with steak. Our food was perfectly season. The waitress(s) were very attentive to our needs. My wife finished her course with a lava cake. That was one of the best lava cakes I've ever had. When I'm in San Antonio again, I'll definitely make reservations for here.

For food, I ordered a ribeye with mashed potatoes. The meat was cooked thoroughly to my liking. I had two drinks which were a tequila sunrise and a tequila moonrise.
The service was wonderful. The waitress was very friendly with an unwavering smile.
Even though there were plenty of people there, the atmosphere with the low lighting was peaceful.
The city view from the restaurant was breathtaking as the sun set and the night lights brought the city to life.

This place is amazing! It was my husband's birthday a couple days ago so I decided to treat him to a dinner 750 ft up in the air

It's a rotating restaurant located in the tower of the Americas that offers seafood specialities and amazing views of San Antonio city. We enjoyed the wine and the unique experience.
The restaurant functions strictly on reservation basis and we got a reservation for 10.45pm on a Saturday night. It was my partner's birthday the next day so we wanted to have a midnight celebration at Chart house. We were looking forward to ordering their famous chocolate lava cake. However, when we got there they told us that they've turned off the oven, so they cannot offer the lava cake. The server suggested the cheesecake instead, which we agreed to, but even that wasn't available. We were majorly disappointed as we were really looking forward to it.
Nonetheless, in you're in San Antonio, don't miss out on this unique experience of being in a beautiful rotating restaurant, while overlooking the city is an experience you won't soon forget!

I've never had such a disappointing experience in a restaurant when my expectations were so high.
My husband and I went here for a quick snack while on a last minute birthday winery and exploration weekend that he planned for me. I had never been to San Antonio and wanted to see the Alamo. As we were driving I saw the restaurant and wanted to stop in for the view and a quick meal. We decided to share the 3 course special they had for $52: Cup of Lobster Bisque, Shrimp Pasta, Mini Chocolate Brownie. Our soup came out pretty quickly. It had a good flavor. Warm. Smooth. Creamy. Very pureed. Not one chuck of lobster in sight. 3/5
Shrimp Pasta 0/5: Came out 55 minutes after we ordered. The shrimp and noodles were cold. The butter sauce that was poured over was hot. Very disappointed with it. We didn't eat it. When the server returned we told her we waited an hour and was unable to wait another hour for a warm version of the meal, so we just wanted to leave. She said she'd speak with a manager, so we waited. She returned and said the manager said we didn't have to pay a bill and we could just leave. This was puzzling to me. I never saw the manager. There was no, "I'm sorry this happened". Nothing. Very poorly managed.
On the way out, I stop by the restroom to complete my review. The bathroom was trashed. It's located right next to the host stand where 4-5 hosts were hanging out while there's no toilet paper in the restroom. I won't be back.

This was our last night in San Antonio and it was a romantic beautiful date night. Our waitress was very personable and spaced out our courses perfectly so we could enjoy the view. My boyfriend got a cucumber cocktail which was very refreshing and I got the Tequila butterfly…it was a beautiful pink color changing and cool -presentation. The steak was cooked perfect and the dessert was mouthwatering.
My favorite part was the view-and I’m not just talking about the sunset :)

Absolutely stunning restaurant high on top of a revolving tower that was built for a World's Fair. You will pay for parking $10 even if you're just visiting the restaurant but that's ok because the experience is well worth it. The grounds the tower are on are beautiful. Waterfalls and statues and beautiful places to walk, a gift shop and a lot more. We were in somewhat of a hurry so we couldn't fully enjoy everything.
Must have reservations! And if you need to attend an event after dinner then make your reservations for earlier than you think you'll need. It takes awhile to get up to the top and you'll want to enjoy your leisurely dining experience.
The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Definitely a more welcoming vibe than the now-closed Malibu, Ca location.
The kids greatly enjoyed the cool selection of virgin cocktails which come with low cost refills. Very fun! We all loved the asparagus appetizer and my coconut shrimp was really good. The boys said their meat dishes were delicious and the meat was cooked as requested. The views are unrivaled and if you're there for the sunset you're in for a treat. The entire restaurant slowly rotates and the direction you're facing is inscribed on the beam which is pretty cool.
100% a worthwhile experience. Sometimes you sacrifice quality food and service for these types of unique locations but that's not the case here.
