It's great here! I remember coming long ago, and knowing it wasn't spectacular, but upon a revisit I was pleasantly surprised to see and taste that this place is some seriously good hamburgers. Don't believe the detractors, my sandwich juicy and packed with flavor. They cooked it to a perfect medium and no toppings or fixings felt out of place. The service was very friendly and I felt very welcomed by the staff. Take a look here and enjoy some home style burgers.

First time eating here and I really enjoyed it. Cozy little place. Came on a Sunday around 6pm and it wasn’t very packed. Nice environment, prompt service and excellent food. I ordered the Cheesy Jane combo and an Oreo shake, which were delicious. Definitely will be eating here again!

Love their burgers! The hot dogs, fries, and tots are also spot on. The topping combos work well and are fresh and tasty. Very friendly service (waitress was almost too attentive, but that beats the opposite, lol) and reasonable prices. It was busy but the food came out quickly. One of the few places where the burgers are good even when cooked through. Also, look for their food truck; sometimes they have specials that are not on the main menu.

Had a great experience here .the small spot had the character of an old malt diner :) the food was great!! Me and my friend both had Burgers and they were made to perfection .I loved the service and the vibe .will definitely be returning❤️❤️

This was our first time coming here. We love the environment here. The food was great. It was not greasy like most places when the make Burgers. The fried pickles and tater tots were crispy. Best place to come and eat with the family.

My daughter and I stopped by after a day at the DoSeum and it did not disappoint! I got the Jammin Jane burger with coke zero, a 1/3 pound deluxe bacon burger with tots and a mint chocolate chip Oreo shake for my daughter and a comal burger with onion rings to go for my boyfriend at home. It was $55 before tip so expect to spend a bit, but the quality of food is on par for what you're paying. The onion rings were so flavorful, best I've had in San Antonio so far honestly. The burgers were juicy and flavorful and the bacon on my burger was a big slice. The jam on my burger kind of reminded me of barbecue sauce. Mad Mack's was my favorite before this, but I think Juicy Jane's ties for first place now ????

Went to cheesy James today to get a chicken breast Burger and a large tater tots. The tater tots were good but when you take them out of course they get saggy. Service at the register was quite slow because they have only one register and they also use it to ring up phone customer and take out orders.
The chicken Burger was almost cooked to deathBeing dryAnd almost crunchy forA chicken breast that was much smaller than I would have imagined and covered only about 2/3 of the bun.
Cheesy James typically makes a very nice Burger but nice Burger but I don't think I could recommend the chicken Burger from here on out.

We came in to eat the burgers they were good but not worth all this money we just got a receipt just a price.We realize it was a lot so we calculated it I went back for an itemized receipt and here’s a picture below I posted. They charge $2.50 for each burger for grilled onions. Already paying $12 for a burger they should’ve of charged for this. It’s pretty missed up they should of gave us a heads up for this charge. We are from outta town and I just told my fiancé we will come back but not going to come back but after this. It’s crazy ridiculous.

First time coming here after buying our Christmas tree and the food was really good. Staff was friendly, quick service, if you happen to be nearby or NOT it's definitely a must. Pricing caught us off guard, not on our budget at the moment but honestly, the food and service made it worth it (this time around) ???? next time which their will definitely be a next time, we'll be prepared. ????

I'm giving Cheesy Jane's 4 stars because of their exceptional servers! I didn't catch their names, but these girls were amazing at keeping their tables happy and comforted. The latest stop on our Burger Quest for the best burger in SA, had us visiting Cheesy Jane's. Not a bad joint. Nostalgic atmosphere reminiscing of times since forgotten, caters to the old school Diner crowd. Shakes looked amazing. I opted for the pepper steak while others had the burger, bacon cheese burger, and the Comal burger. The beef was good. The burgers looked big in size, but did not amaze or wow me. I did have high expectations upon entering, but did not leave dissatisfied. My personal fave here were the tots! Couldn't get enough of them! More of an attraction due to its decor and attempt to masquerade itself as an old school diner, Cheesy Jane's was a delightful visit that left me wanting the knockout burger I am search of! Great for sweet treats and quick meal visits with family, Cheesy Jane's offers a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional service! Keep up the Great Work Cheesy Jane's! Thanks for the food and unforgettable visit!!
