There is absolutely no parking here. You have to already be walking around the strip to get your pizza here. I would have to say the pizza was just ok. Not good enough to recommend looks good but was not impressed. I was expecting savory but it is not. Also the personell was not very courteous or friendly. I will not be returning. Sorry guys just not impressed.
Star ratings. 1 bad. 2 below average. 3 average / neutral. 4 good. 5 excellent.
Stopped in for lunch. Great food. Wish I was hungrier so I could've ordered the burrata. Great location in the park. Eat in or grab some take out while the kids play at the splash pad.

Absolutely amazing! We had a fantastic experience! We started with the amazing Campionatiore burrata sampler, and each ordered our own pizza and shared a few slices of each to experience different pies. Everything was top notch. The cheeses were delicious as were the pizzas. I'd definitely recommend this place and plan to come back the next time I'm in town.

I definitely recommend this place. Server was very helpful. The food was delicious. Their home made cheese was on point. The bread on the pizza was just how I like, not too doughy and not too thick. The sauce was delicious and the pepperoni was just right. Didn’t feel super full after eating the pizza and the cheese with sun dried tomatoes with bread. I definitely recommend and plan on coming back.

Small space, but fun lively vibe and delicious food! Gluten free crust was amazing and one of the best we've ever had. It's didn't even look gluten free. They subbed out gluten free flat bread for the crostinis with the appetizer too when we asked about to accomodate allergies.
1 pizza, 1 appetizer and 1 salad was enough food for 2 meals for 2 people!

The salads and pizza are amazing. Yes parking downtown is sometimes a challenge, they have other locations with parking lots if walking doesn't suit you. They have indoor and outdoor seating, will definitely be back.

If you’re going to eat here I suggest you stretch your wrists before because you will be swatting flys away from your food the entire meal. We were in a fully enclosed patio but still had a lot of large flys. We had the Sugo pizza and mista salad. We do not speak Italian so struggled with what to order. The salad was bland but large portion enough for four. The pizza was average. I rate the service as excellent. We were seated as far away as you can get and never had more then a half empty glass. Waitress was professional and attentive. There is outdoor dinning and a little play area next to the restaurant so I could be good for those who have little ones. Between being a human fly swatter, the bland salad, and price point for an average pizza I can say with conference we would never go back.

After a two-year hiatus forced by COVID, we made it back to Dough. It was definitely worth the wait! We went to the downtown SATX location, which is a beautiful space in an historic building, which the Dough crew has transformed into a warm, inviting restaurant. Try that location, it’s an experience in and of itself.
I would be remiss if I did not start off this review by acknowledging our waiter, Christian, who was awesome! Attentive but not intrusive, just how we like it! Thank you Christian!
We started with an appetizer of Burrata al Tartufo, which is perhaps the quintessential burrata dish. Handmade burrata (we watched it being made), mascarpone, ricotta, etc. served with crostini… Heaven on a plate!
The Miata salad was equally good, a wonderful blend of mixed greens, olives, wonderful cheese, roasted garlic, toasted croutons, etc. The perfect segue into the pizza course.
We ordered the Amore di Maiale (“pork love”) pizza, and it was amazing, as always, including the awesome crust! The Sugo pizza was available, so we ordered that as our second “we haven’t tried it before” pizza. Sausage, roasted mushrooms and red bell peppers, braised prosciutto… oh my! It was deelish! The Sugo did not overtake “pork love” as our favorite pizza at Dough, but it is definitely a close second.
The wine list at Dough is not extensive, but what it lacks in sheer number of selections, it more than compensates with quality, reasonably priced wines: all Italian, most Italian varietals are represented. We ordered the Il Monticello Colli di Lune, a 2020 Vermentino. It was outstanding! The perfect compliment to our meal.
Our general observation regarding the entire Dough menu is that it is, by far, superior to any competitor in Central Texas, likely the entire state. If you haven’t been to Dough, put it on your “pizza bucket list” and stop by soon.
One last thing… a special shout out to Doug Horn, the owner, who visited with us for quite some time, despite the busy crowd. He recounted his journey from the CIA New York to “Texas Pizza Guy.” It was a delightful chat. Doug obviously loves what he’s doing, and that’s reflected in all of his employees, who are always smiling and laughing, including the folks working the 900 degree oven in the kitchen! Doug, thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We’ll be back!!!

Traveled here for business, had some time to come out and explore a bit. My wife found this place based off their gluten free pizza options. We try GF pizza everywhere we go and let me tell you.. this one is INCREDIBLE.
Not just the dough, but every single ingredient has me picturing some smiling Italian grandmother picking each ingredient fresh from the garden and carefully preparing each item and cooking with love.
As an Italian, I appreciate when food makes you feel like home and this place did just that!
Not only that, but Blair our server gave impeccable service and had great friendly energy that kept us smiling every time she visited our table.
I don’t know when travels will bring us back this way, but it’s certainly a spot I’ll be checking out again! Highly recommend!
