One of the best Mexican restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Queso Flameado to start, followed by Tacos de Carnitas (x2), Chicken Parrallida and some Cheese Enchiladas topped with queso for my young boy. The lady and I both had rocks margaritas. Everything was top notch , 5/5 would definitely recommend!
This was a fun dinner date!! Cool vibe, very fun atmosphere!! The ribeye steak fajitas were damn good, but had a few too many veggies on the skillet. Needs more meat and less veggies. The queso was tasty and the Margaritas were pretty good!! Go check it out!!
PS - the only negative was the ambient noise. It was very loud with the big crowds and very hard to hear.

I was skeptical about El Mirasol. Most nicer Tex-Mex food restaurants are such a let down or sort of bland in flavor. This was not. The drinks are strong such that you know the bartender isn't shorting you. The food isn't terribly creative, but it's well executed and tastes good. I will say this place fills fast and you should expect a hard time finding a table near dinner time without a reservation. Is it the best Tex-Mex food? Nope, not even close, but is good enough to set itself apart from other nicer Tex-Mex restaurants in a city full of good choices for that kind of food.

Stopped by for an unplanned Friday dinner around 6p. It was crowded and they quoted about 45 minutes for an outside table, but luckily was seated within 15 minutes. Was immediately greeted upon sitting down with the server ready to take appetizer and drink orders. They brought chips and salsa, but also ordered the Queso Flameado, and Frozen Margaritas. Both came out within 5 minutes. The Queso Flameado comes with chorizo on the bottom and went well with the 2 cheeses. Drinks were great as the fruit flavors tasted natural and not the artificial syrup taste. They also looked great and had a nice balance of alcohol and sweetness.
For the meal, ordered the 1lb Seafood Parrillada to share. It was definitely a pound of tilapia, scallops, shrimp, and vegetables. Everything was cooked and charred nicely. Everything on the plate tasted great, but my favorite was the scallops. They were served with rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce, pico de gallo, and tortillas. Had a few margaritas over dinner before finishing off with the Churros and Coconut Flan. The Churros were crispy and served with ice cream. The Coconut Flan was my favorite of the two. It had a good coconut flavor mixed with the caramel custard. This was a nice place to have a relaxing dinner of good food and drinks while sitting outside.

I made a return visit to El Mirasol to meet up with friends I had not seen in years. Service was very good and patient as we all gathered. We were greeted with good chips and salsa. I ordered the salad with seafood (crab and four perfectly grilled large prawns) and an iced tea. I think my entire group was very happy with their food and the very good service.

I enjoy a good night out as a reward for hard work. This is one of my favorite places to eat and it is always wonderful. I have eaten here a few times there to enjoy a really good dinner. I like to try new foods always. If you want good cheap drinks, fajitas, and enchiladas, they have that too. Good all around place.

Today me and my wife had an outstanding lunch and great Tamarindo Margaritas. I had the Chile en Nogada and it was delicious, the Pablano pepper was so fresh and the sauteed beef and pork stuffing had a unique smoked flavor . My wife had the Tacos al Pastor and they looked very fresh and tasty. Everything was great there from the ambiance to the staff. Love El Mirasol especially knowing I can just walk over...lol. My past few visits I tried both the Fajitas and Lobster Enchiladas and I have to say, both meals were superb. The service was on point with lots of smiles and friendless. The bar drinks are quality, especially those Chispas which I highly recommend you try. I'll be visiting again soon. Btw, the Alon location atmosphere is so much better.
