Don’t sleep on Fidelo’s! I would venture to say this is the best Tex-Mex in San Antonio. Everything from breakfast tacos to their chips and salsa is executed perfectly. You won’t find anything not homemade here. Their chips are the thicker, real fried tortilla kind and their salsa packs just the right amount of heat. I love their cheese enchiladas for a classic dish and they have 3 options of lunch specials to choose from a day. The only bad thing is they’re not open 24/7 to satisfy my immense cravings for Fidelo’s after their 3pm closing time!
Fidelo's has been our GO-TO breakfast spot for the past year. The staff is always friendly and makes us feel like family. They have the BEST coffee! The homemade corn and flour tortillas are soooo good. My hubs says after my homeade breakfasts, they are #1.

False advertising...they say that the BREAKFAST pancake plate does not come with potatoes and beans...on the menu it clearly states that it DOES....if they are lying about the menu...whats next? I am so tired of these small businesses thinking it is ok to fleece its customers...Oh and then we noticed on our receipt that they also charged and administration fee...what the hell is that? Crooks...just lost a customer, and I will be letting people know about their schemes.

The best tortillas I've had in SA. Friendly and attentive service. Machacado plate was on point.
I drive by occasionally, but never stop in because the parking lot always looks packed. I finally decided to stop today. Glad I did. I'll it was busy, the parking lot makes it look busy than it is Orale!

Food is fantastic! I have had excellent food and service with every visit. For me all items have been very tasty and good portions. It is very apparent that most of their dining room is filled with regular customers.

Poor service were there with a group of 7 everyone but us had there food we ended up getting our food 20 min. After everyone we had same order as some of others that was served . When we finally got ours it didn't seem to be the same as the others that got there's earlier . Waitress apologize for everything but it was out of her control , my wife got sick shortly after eating , she said she couldn't finish hers it didn't taste good that good she ate half of it . I ate most of it but I did feel naushaus after . Will never go back .

I got the chicken quesadilla plate. Not bad. Nice portions. Tortillas are okay. Beans and rice was good. Only down side was the chicken could have been seasoned better. Had no flavoring

On our way from Austin to corpus Christi we got hungry just outside of San Antonio. When we entered the smell alone was a good sign. Salsa served with chips was excellent. My husband had Fidel's special and I had a chicken chalupa and bean and cheese burrito everything was good. The rice was exceptional. Definitely worth the slightly out of the way stop!
