After a long hard day of moving, a friend and I enjoyed our experience at Hook and Reel for the evening. Fun atmosphere, great music selection, Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Our fantastic waiter regularly checked on us. We shared mozzarella sticks appetizer, and a boil bag filed with snow crab legs, headless shrimp, corn on the cob, sausage, and garlic butter noodles. I loved the seasoning! The menu did forewarned about high sodium for the sausage which was a bit salty for me. However, I had a glass of lemon water to help dilute it. Overall, I had a great time! I wish I had a chance to try out the signature cocktails! Next time!

Our favorite seafood place! Service is always fast and friendly. The night we went they had karaoke which was different but fun. This one of our go-to seafood places, we can't say enough good things about this place. We never had to wait for a table or had a bad experience here. 10/10 recommend.

Service was slightly lackluster and that was only because they were short-staffed. Our waiter was the bartender and he was very friendly. We got the small batch boil, spicy with crawfish, shrimp and sausage. It was good, but not spicy enough for my partner. We also got the calamari as an appetizer and shrimp basket. The cocktail sauce was a little too sweet, but that was the only negative.

Tried out this restaurant with the family for dinner. It was really family friendly, but the food choices were not that good for the kiddos. The boil had a great flavor but we will go back with only adults in the future.

Was my first visit to Hook and Reel, had to try one of the crab boils because Im always on the search to find a better one.

Was part of a large group, we ordered a little bit of everything on the menu. We started with the breadsticks, some calimari, raw oysters, soups, and cheese sticks.

I tried the calamari, they were OK, but not impressive, the breadsticks however were pretty tasty, as were the pork rinds they brought on arrival.

For my main meal I went with a small boil, crab clusters, shrimp, and sausage. I did the Original Cajun seasoning, medium spicy. The spice was good, the flavor was good, but something was missing.

Compared to some of the best I've had, this was up there, but not in the top 3, mainly because of flavor and the fact it only came with 1 corn and 2 potatoes.

I would be game to visit again and try another seasoning, but the price also goes up quick as you add items to the boil. Its best to order a large boil with all the items you want and split it.

Prices were a bit on the high side, service was good, selection of items was good, quality of food was good.

Visited on a Saturday night and we were seated quickly. The door girl and our waiter Raul were very friendly. We were served chicharrones at our table and they are light, airy and good. We got raw oysters as an appetizer and they were delicious and fresh. The crawfish, shrimp, lobster and snow crab legs were aromatic and tasty. Wings were good and the kiddos enjoyed their spaghetti. The watermelon martini w/ a sugar rim was very good. Overall was a good experience in a relaxing atmosphere. The chairs are also very comfortable.
