Great service and friendly staff. Depending on what you order, things can be a hit or miss. Definitely recommend their calzone, but would not order the cheese bread again, it was literally cheese on top of bread....lol. Overall coyld be improved but worth a stop if in the area
Food was fresh tasting, but the soda choices could be better. We tried a Stromboli & pasta. Would definitely recommend the Stromboli!!! It tasted freshly made with a perfectly golden brown crust & a good amount of meats and cheese. The sauce was bursting with flavor. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. It just tasted bland, nothing special about it. Next time I will try some other menu items. Oh yes the Stromboli was so delicious I will go back. I will probably take it to go because the employees just didn’t seem to enjoy their job it felt like I was bothering them if I needed something. Also I like cleaner tables and chairs at restaurants.

Nice atmosphere and good food. I ordered the margherita pizza and my husband ordered chicken Alfredo. Nice size portions. We also went on half price wine night, so we enjoyed that. I was a bit disappointed though that it is order at the front. And once you get your food, there is no more service...or at least that was the case this night.

I really want this place to be a five star pizzeria, but I feel like they just miss the mark with every order. The good: The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of specialty pizzas. They have a good selection of toppings. They make New York style pizza, thin, two hand slices. The bad: There is always something that they do to the pizza that leaves me disappointed. Examples: Today, I ordered the Aglio, which has prosciutto, basil, garlic and artichoke hearts. Sounds amazing, only it wasn’t. The garlic was left as whole cloves on the pizza. The prosciutto was cooked! The beauty of prosciutto is that it is dry cured. Good prosciutto is thinly sliced, tender and salty. The prosciutto on this pizza was cooked to a crisp. It was basically bacon. You might say that I ordered a pizza, which goes in an oven. Therefore, I should expect the ingredients to be cooked. Then you’ve never had good New York style pizza with prosciutto on it and you don’t know what you are missing. The prosciutto should go on either in the final minutes of cooking or after the pie is done. The basil should also go on after the pie is cooked. In the case of a pizza with prosciutto, the better choice would be arugula, but I won’t hold their choice of toppings against them. I knew I was getting basil and was okay with it. I was just hoping that it would be fresh and not cooked. Last week, we ordered the Tina Mediterranean and the toppings were not evenly dispersed. Entire slices were missing chicken. Some slices had what appeared to be a cup of olives. I’ve never understood why pizzerias don’t pay more attention to topping distribution. I won’t stop going here because it’s better than Domino’s on many levels and not much more expensive, but I do hope they can improve. They are so close.

I think this is one of the best deals in town! For under $13 tax inc. the Chicken Italiano Lunch Special from Julian's comes with a delicious and tender chicken breast, a healthy serving of spinach and you choice of perfectly cooked pasta al dente and red or white sauce, a side salad, and a drink. Oh, and they also brought a delicious loaf of bread to go along with it! I love this plate so much, but I think next time I might go for one of the ginormous slices of pizza I saw being shuttled around to the other tables. My coworker had the lasagna and enjoyed it as well. Stop by ????????

Instead of the typical pizza from the hut, I ordered an 18" sausage and red onion pizza for the same price a franchise would charge for a 16" pizza. It was hot and ready in 20 minutes, and I picked it up myself. Very good flavor without feeling over-stuffed.

Ate at this location after church this past Sunday as a group of 4. Service was excellent and very fast. We ordered 4 different lunch special plates. All were excellent and the portions very generous. I was super-happy with my Chicken Italiano plate because they gave me a great portion of fresh steamed spinach, which I love, and the pasta/sauce and chicken breast were excellent as well. The rustic bread they serve with the meals is addicting and much appreciated since so many places have stopped serving any sort of sides like that. Thanks to the Julian's crew for a great experience. Looking forward to the next visit!

One of my top 3 favorite Italian restaurants in SA. Julian's I have to say is the most consistent tasting Italian restaurant I've ever been to. They take pride in quality and consistency. The lunch specials are the best in SA and are offered everyday, which is rare to find nowadays. The lasagna and the spaghetti & meatballs are the bomb. My personal favorite is the pepperoni spaghetti. The staff is very attentive and management interacts with customers thanking them and making sure they are being properly served. A very Highly Recommend Italian Restaurant. The IG Foodies never seem to promote this restaurant, but with true customer word of mouth, who needs them anyway. As a true customer, I'm telling you this place is great!!!!

I've never had a bad experience at Julian's. It's reliable, well made pizza and my only criticism is when it gets busy you might get a cold pizza if you get delivery - but eating in is great. I order often but prefer to eat in, because the atmosphere is really local and relaxed. There's music on Fri/Sat and the staff are super friendly. Mostly the food is always consistently tasty and well prepared, no negative surprises. It is a little more $$ but worth it for a nicer venue with generous portions and it's clean. I recommend Julians especially this one on West, for a night out, date night or friends night, it's just not going to let you down. They work really hard to get it right and they've succeeded. It reminds me of a big city pizza family restaurant, I always feel glad I came.

Ordered a pizza with triple pepperoni so it would be smothered and I have slices with one or two pieces.
Not sure if they changed cooks but dough is different and this was one of my favorite restaurants.
So sad I will not be returning.
