UPDATE: Still an amazing little french cafe in downtown SA! Amazing breakfast with french pastries, bread, and breakfast sandwiches! Many of their options are exactly what you’d find in a typical cafe in France! Really delighted to find a spot like this in San Antonio! Have tried to return again but they were closed on Tuesdays! We will return again next time we are in town!

I am angry. Angry that I did not discover this place sooner. The food is DELICIOUS. Croissants are perfectly baked with amazing texture. The staff are lovely. Coffee is best around. Also just love the overall vibe of the place. Can sit with friends and play a board game or two. I’m only sad that there’s not one like it where I live.

This was in the heart of downtown, a short walk from my hotel. It’s such a cute vibe. You get transported overseas immediately. My husband and I did the all inclusive meal that includes pretty much everything. It was heavenly. Fresh OJ, croissant was crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. Coffee was superb. 10/10!

Authentic French bakery in downtown San Antonio with croissants that are on par with the ones I’ve had in Paris. We stop for croissants, quiche and sandwiches and always take home a baguette (and sometimes wine). The atmosphere is quiet, quaint yet worldly as the visitors are often international. The proprietors are wonderful. We love La Boulangerie.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before we explored San Antonio. Cute little French bakery with a great menu selection. When you walk in it appears small but there was a second room with tons of seating. We ordered Kelly’s Sandwich, an omelet and the smoked salmon quiche. The sandwich was on their freshly baked baguette which was delicious! It had figs, arugula and brie. The quiche was fluffy, creamy and melted in your mouth. I didn’t try the omelet but my husband said it was great. We did not try any pastries but they all looked amazing. Great little find in the heart of San Antonio!

Delicious Breakfast and cute European charm. Loved the drip coffee and the ambiance here. Find a snuggled table and enjoy this scrumptious food at La Boulangerie. It’s a hidden gem ???? so feel lucky that you found this place and tell your friends about it. We will be back every time we’re back in SA.

Quaint. So French. Free parking (limited spaces) in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Excellent options for the eye and tongue and belly. Sandwiches, pastries, bread for here or to-go. Not inexpensive, but worth it! Delicious!

This place is quite the hidden gem. I’ve been in San Antonio for a while and it took me a very long time to find this quaint cafe. It is so lovely from the food to the staff. Very authentic French feel. The baguettes are the best in the city and you can’t go wrong with anything you Order.

I really enjoyed the Atmosphere. It definitely has a European feeling to it. We ordered a chicken and mushroom crepe, a ham and egg croissant and a lemon tart. The food was just enough for a light breakfast. The lemon tart was the best thing we got. So delicious! I want to go back and try out their strawberry eclaire. That looked bomb!

What a cool place! I walked over from my hotel on the river walk. It was a relatively short walk from the Hyatt Regency, maybe five minutes.

The area that the bakery is in has some really cool little shops, so make sure to leave some time to go browsing!

When I walked in, the smell of all the baked goods was amazing! I had the croque monsieur, which was hot, fresh, crunchy and had lots of melted cheese. It was served with some greens that had a nice light dressing on them. The unsweetened iced tea was nice and strong and very fresh.

It was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again!
