Food is pretty great, waitresses are nice. Only thing is the restroom, they only have one " working " stall in the female restroom. There is another stall that is " out of order". There was an older lady with a cane in that stall so I had to wait a bit. Then a few minutes after I entered the stall a waitress comes in and rips off the tape and sign to the " out of order" stall and uses it as if nothing is wrong with it. Then puts the sign back on when done. Maybe make a private restroom for the employees if that is the case.

It's ok, very expensive. Probably wont eat there again. Well, got a response from owner. They are not too happy about my review and I didnt even say anything bad, lol..in response to tht, I have eaten in better places tht do not charge tht much, tho! Even because of Inflation, covid, whtever excuse. JS

Great food. Less stars for inconsistent Service. Dining room in back seems to have more problems. Wait staff not service oriented. Front room very attentive. Remembers you as a prior customer. Very pleasant attentive & accommodating up front. Go early before 130pm for great service & lunch specials in front. New increased prices. Still good food. If you go late you will deal with staff ready to close up. Have seen staff send away customers before closing time as early as 230pm. (3pm posted) Extra price added for using credit cards.

I can look past the increase in prices. We're in a recession with high inflation. What I can't excuse is filling a large cup of Coke up with 80% ice and charging $3.10 for it.

Went 3xs in a row for lunch. Great customer service. The food was delicious in house tortillas. Nice & hot. The waiters were on top of everything. Breakfast tacos also great!

In my second visit: heavy meat menudo, flavorful corn tortillas and none stop special coffee plus superb service is a perfect combination. Well, I’ll keep looking for a flaw next week… promise

The breakfast tacos are good and if you order them before 10 I believe they are only $1.25 for your normal breakfast tacos
The Chile relleno is very good. I've been going to Las Carretas since they were off naco-perrin. Good food and good people...

Me and my husband came here a few weeks ago to attend a big dinner party event with a group. Some of the members of the group, myself included, are vegans/vegetarians. The rest are not. But the restaurant offered us the most delicious nonmeat entrees!! Chips and salsa, potato and carrot enchiladas, mushrooms, rice, beans, guacamole and salad! So good! My husband (not vegan) also got to enjoy a huge meat filled skillet I believe called a parallada? He enjoyed his food as well! We will definitely be back because this is a place we can both go and enjoy the food together even though I don't eat meat. Thank you for serving us such delicious foods!!

I ALWAYS have lengua here at Las Carretas. First, this menu item is not always served in all Mexican restuarants and this meat is seasoned and tender! Add guacamole in a very soft and large tortilla and you have a meal! Prices are fair and service is quick!
