Im loving this place for the yummy café de olla and breakfast tacos which are very stuffed and use homemade corn and flour tortillas
My only negative feedback is the aguas frescas which almost taste like plain water, and the chilaquiles verdes sauce was wayyyy too sour, i couldnt even finish them bc of it
Overall very cute spot, i love the artesanal coffee cups too!! will be visiting more often
Ate lunch there today for first time. When I sat down, they brought me not just chips and salsa, but a lovely little cup of delicious soup — chicken broth with fideo noodles, but nicely spiced and quite delicious. I ordered a torta Milanesa and it was one of the best I've ever had. Service was great, price not unreasonable. It's a quiet, unpretentious place. Maybe not the place you'd take out of town guests if you were trying to wow somebody, but rather the sort of place you yourself might go to regularly. I'll be going back.

The server was very friendly and patient with us first times there. She explained the menu and offered suggestions.
The food was great. Great authentic Mexican taste. Plenty of food as well.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good Mexican food with a great service. I will be back for sure.

This little gem needs to be added to your restaurant list! It's my second time in and they do not disappoint. I've only experienced breakfast, but both times the food has been delicious and they have accommodated my diet. The salsa is HOT but absolutely yummy. The coffee and Cafe de Olla are a must. The ambiance is cheery and bright, staff is welcoming and the service is above and beyond. We will be continuous customers and we can't wait to try their lunch!

Super Cute place, clean and neat ! It’s safe to say by far not the best Mexican food in SA! The no sizzle fajitas was a dead giveaway, the staff was very nice and attentive, However the food just wasn’t the best.

We randomly found this place while looking for a quick bite to eat. We got tacos (hard and soft). The shells were awesome. The meat could use a little more seasoning but was good. Good refried beans and rice. Good service. Bright, cheery atmosphere.

I’m going to start with the service it was so welcoming, friendly, they all has a positive attitude and smile. The sopa de fideo, chips queso and salsa are so so delicious and the food was so authentic in my personal opinion everything is made from scratch I could taste it and see how fresh it was to me. Taste bud overload!!! Food coma!!!

Wanted to support a small business and since I pass by this restaurant every day, decided to have lunch here. It was soooo amazing. Stopped a couple leaving and asked for recommendations and they said try the PUFFY TACOS. Not a Texas native but was willing to try. Man!! They were sooooo good. I could only eat one. They serve soup and chips before the meal so you get your money worth for sure!!! Definitely recommend @

This cute little restaurant is located just around the corner from The Quary in Alamo Heights. Their service was Amazing & the food was delicious! I was immediately met at the table with chips, a great tasting salsa & a cup of fideo soup. I ordered their house-made cucumber lemonade to drink & the Carne Asada plate. Loved the atmosphere of the place too! Will definitely be returning.

Had the pleasure of eating here last week The restaurant itself is beautiful and the service is great! Definitely worth the price if you do decide to stop by. I noticed some reviews mentioned the prices were an issue but they are clearly stated on the menus and for the portions we were served it was worth the cost
