Love this place. They have a cake that is vanilla with strawberries on top that is to die for. Today I got a chocolate one for my husband's birthday and judging from the other cake I am sure we will love it. We tried a couple of different cookies today and they were good too. Price wasn't bad for the cake either. I spent like $30 for a maybe 10inch round cake. For it being a specialty cake I believe that is a fair price. I have walked into some cake stored with ridiculous prices. Highly recommend coming here for a sweet fix.

Went to have lunch and dessert. Hadn’t been to Nadler’s in several years but it was always on my list of must have bakeries. Unfortunately, over the years, the service and quality has gone way down which is a huge disappointment. I understand they had other customers coming in, but when you are asking for service, you shouldn’t be rudely told to just wait and then be ignored. None of the food or service is what it once was - especially for the price. I think I’ve had my last visit.

My son & daughter-in-law choose Nadler’s for their wedding cake this month. During the tasting, my daughter-in-law described her vision for the cake design and it was created perfectly. The cake was absolutely beautiful and very delicious. We would definitely recommend Nadler’s for your special cake needs.

Poor customer service. We were visiting San Antonio and stopped in to have lunch. We were told to sit at a table and someone would come by to take our order. We waited 15 minutes and no one came by. Multiple employees made eye contact with us and when trying to get their attention, we were ignored. They were busy but there is no excuse to at least acknowledge us and let us know they they will be right with us.
Unfortunately, this place looks really busy and people will keep shopping here even with this poor customer service. I am big on supporting small businesses and staying away from big chains. Experiences like this don’t help the small business push to “shop local”. I am willing to bet that they won’t respond to this. If they do, they will gain my business in the future. If no response, hopefully people will read this and realize that customers aren’t their top priority.

Ordered a tres leches cake, paid $48 this is NOT tres leches cake it is literally white cake. The bottom part with the milk tasted disgusting. Also, wanted feliz cumpleaños and they wrote “felize” Like what? Don’t understand the 4+ stars with this place this was embarrassing for me to show up and everyone was expecting a tres leches cake including the persons who’s birthday it was. What a disappointment. Do not recommend this place I wish I could give no stars.

My usual cake lady was not available for the weekend I needed a cake so I went into Nadler's 4 days prior to needing the cake.
The person who helped me place the order was very friendly and helpful.
I arrived Saturday afternoon to pick up my order and it was not what I ordered.
The Boston Cream Cake has a white web frosting on top and I specifically asked for that to be removed (even payed extra for them not to put it on there because to them that is considered custom). I asked for a ribbon with happy birthday written on it, that wasn't even on it.
I requested for it to be ready by noon because we had a reservation to be somewhere by 12:30. I didn't end up leaving Nadler's until 12:45.
The lady helping said she would give me a $5 credit.
They ended wiping off the web pattern on the cake and adding more chocolate on top, added the ribbon and we were good to check out.
I purchased a few more cup cakes thinking I was getting the credit. She gives me the total and I asked if that included the $5 credit. She said "no, we fixed the cake".
First off, I paid extra for a "custom cake" that wasn't done like I requested. It should have been ready by noon and you can't even honor the $5 credit you told me you would.

I have used Nadler’s exclusively for any special event. My bridal shower, my parents anniversary, and most recently my daughter’s baptism. The cakes not only look beautiful, they taste AMAZING. The owners are incredibly kind people. When you visit Nadler’s you will always feel welcome. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone who wants beautiful, tasty desserts.

Very welcoming staff, patient while you're trying to decide amongst all the options. Bakery items are delicious. The three pics show only 1/2 of the options as people were in front of the other cases. Sandwiches are also really good.

I ordered a cake for my daughter for her birthday and it was delicious. I chose not to get any writing on it as we had a cake topper. The frosting was very light and not too sweet at all despite being buttercream frosting. This is the smallest size you can get of the chocolate cake and I wasn't expecting it to be round since the website shows a square cake, but it was well worth what I paid for it.

I ordered 3 cakes (don’t judge) and they were all really good. Boston cream: delicious. Silk and satin: truly amazing. Strawberry whipped cream: fluffy and perfect. I’m just glad I don’t live in SA or I’d be there every weekend!
