This was my first time here. We went on a Saturday around 12pm and there was no wait. The service was great. We ordered two whole chickens and fajitas. The rice was a bit soggy for my liking but the flavor was spot on. We will come again!

Great surprise. We are in town from Arlington for short getaway. Picked this from google search. Totally authentic. Wait staff great and friendly and food was out quickly. Best fajitas ever! Was concerned when we were presented with paper plates and plastic utensils but one bite, good food took first place. We will always return on future visits to the city

Heres another favorite that we highly recommend. We got a whole chicken with 1/2 lb asada, beans, rice, tortillas. Lots of food, enough for some leftovers. Always busy, popular place. Wait time is never to long. We have done both dine in and drive thru.
There are 2 locations that I know of. I believe I saw another one sonewhere while heading to the Witte. Note that not all locations are the same quality

1st time there, food was really good. Child order cheeseburger, came with potato chips, she liked it. Stuff friendly, plenty of parking space, allot of traffic through the drive thru.

I am in LOVE with the food! I was visiting from Cleveland and asked about authentic Tex-Mex and was directed to this restaurant. I was not disappointed! Everything was so delicious and fresh. Fast service. And that green sauce!!!!
This was genuinely one of the best things that I’ve ever eaten. We had the sirloin, the chicken, some sausages. The charro beans were great and Omg that fresh guac!
This was my first time in San Antonio and even if it’s just to come back and eat? It will absolutely not be my last!
Please brave the winter weather and open a location up North! Everyone here would go crazy for this food!!!

If you want to try the best grilled chicken in Texas than this is the spot. Their grilled chicken is their specialty, they probably marinate it for hours, possibly days. The flavor is amazing, the charro beans are delicious and their green salsa is extremely unique! Their prices are very reasonable and the service was exceptional. By far the best chicken I have had since I lived in Mexico. Two thumbs up!!! El Pollo esta con madres!!!

All I have to say is WOW!!! The borracho beans are AMAZING! The broth is so tasty you will want to sit and eat that first on a cold rainy day. No on to the rice! So much flavor and melt in your mouth delicious. The main course the chicken!!! Oh my word! This is the best I repeat the best chicken I have ever tasted!! This place is a MUST to try. Do not let the building fool you. Looks are deceiving!! Come hungry because you won’t want to stop eating.

Oh my goodness. This was sincerely one of the best meals we’ve had all year. Super quick service, friendly, and the food?! Perfectly charred chicken with green sauce that cuts through the smokiness. Fajitas that were sizzling hot and well seasoned. Such good tortillas. All of it was a treat.
If I lived in S. A. I’d be here once a week.

Wow, wow, wow!! Some of the best tasting chicken around. Putting the green sauce on the chicken takes it to a whole new level. The half chicken is a great deal and tons of chicken for the price. You also get a roasted onion and jalapeño on side. The rice is some of the best tasting Mexican rice I’ve ever had. You can also get a side of beans. Do not pass up an opportunity to visit this spot.

I can't Express it enough...I had high expectations and.. well... they were met.... it is true what they say.... it was mouthwatering..... rice, beans, sausage fajitas and the chicken were cooked tio perfection. The sausage could have used a bit more time on the fire, but it was fantastic...2 ???????? up
