Even after all these years, they never disappoint. Love, love the burgers. My favorite fast food place to go.
Had a nice simple weekend breakfast at the Q kitchen in the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk. Ordered avocado toast and added smoked salmon. It was a perfect light breakfast with a nice iced tea. Service was prompt and courteous and the view of the atrium and river was very nice!

We arrived around 11pm when the bar was not that busy, yet it took an hour to get our food. We also received it after others that had arrived after us. The table next to us had the same problems. They had 2 bartenders, 1 server, 1 manager. The server was doing her best trying to work an entire spaced room on her own because the manager spent most of his time helping the bar instead of the server when they shouldn’t have needed the help. By the time the manager started helping the server, it was too late because she was already deep in trouble and struggling. The bartenders had tunnel vision. I watched one guy sit there waiting to order drinks for a while and neither looked at him or acknowledged him because they kept their heads down. There was a point the server had 2 plates and went around the whole room not knowing who it belonged to. Once we finally received our food, it wasn’t worth the price. I got a brisket sandwich and all I could taste was bbq sauce not the meat at all. It wasn’t hot, warm at best like it’d been sitting. The server didn’t even know if it was correct “I think this is it” (the brisket sandwich). The table next to us sent one dish back once due to an issue. After finishing we again sat waiting for our check as the staff ran around not acknowledging any of us. I could tell the table next to me was annoyed too. It was clear the manager was not running the floor, it was running him. If they were busy (they really weren’t), instead of focusing on dishes left on tables (since they’d already closed the area to new guests), they should’ve noticed people like us sitting there looking bored and annoyed and dealt with us live guests first. The manager had tunnel vision. Management is about stopping fires before they happen. When we were finally able to stop the manager to finally ask get our check, he was rude. It’s not good service to tell the customer, look just be patient because we’re trying. Based on what I observed, they shouldn’t have been struggling as bad as they were. He didn’t know he was speaking to a former restaurant manager who’s run a busier restaurant than what I saw tonight with 3 servers, me, and the cook staff without looking like our heads were chopped off. I’d be worried what they’d be like if the place was packed. We won’t be back to this place.

Staff are friendly but food and drink service are both slow. Prices are shockingly high. I ate breakfast and lunch here. At breakfast on a Saturday morning the bar was closed with only Bloody Mary's and Mimosas being served. No beer, no micheladas, no cocktails until 113OAM. Pancakes were like $15 with no sides. Appetizers up to $18 for a quesadilla. The food is good but the pricing is still out of line and there's much better food within walking distance. No kids menu that I saw but my 9 year old enjoyed the pancakes. Only saving grace is that front of house was unfailingly helpful, especially Saturday morning.

This is the breakfast restaurant if you are staying in Hyatt Regency.
The food is just ok, high price for the quality.
Servers hospitability are very good and patient.
I will not suggest having your breakfast here unless you are a Globalist (thus free).
Even then I will opt out to have breakfast elsewhere as there are so many better options elsewhere.

This is the restaurant that is used for guests staying at the Hyatt Regency. The ambiance is alright though it’s indoors and not particularly nice in views. The service is surprisingly just OK, compared to so many other places with texas hospitality.
Prices are very high and the food is alright and takes a while to prepare. Certainly wouldn’t eat here if not for having a globalist credit at the restaurant.

Service was great. Very attentive & helpful, brought out sauce to sample with breakfast, offee refills were plentiful alomg with generous food portions. You can sit in the main lobby adjacent to the bar or there is seating further back. Free Wi-Fi from Hyatt Regency which is where Q Kitchen is located. This was a huge plus as I wasn't a hotel guest. Parking is available across the street if you're not staying at the Hyatt - however it cost $19.49 for 1 hour and 14 min.

The breakfast menu is pricey, but totally worth it. The Huevos Racheros (with brisket!) was the best I’ve ever had. You could tell the chef knew what they were doing. The tortillas were fried perfectly, and the dish in it’s entirety was delicious. Almost a $20 plate, but it was so delicious that I ordered it two days in a row. Worth it.

We were a group of 8 and had the pasta & salad lunch buffet. The food was very good with the pasta chefs expertly mixing the ingredients of your choice. Standard pasta and toppings choices. The greens and fruits were very fresh. There was nothing remarkable about the dessert bar, cookies, pie, and cake not quite as fresh as the salad bar. The wait staff was a little short with us, but we were a large group without reservations. Overall a good experience.
