This restaurant use to be on Bitters and 281. It's been here since then and food is still great!!! White pizza is a must. Crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Cold and crispy fresh salad ingredients. Soooo yummy. Go for lunch during the week for lunch specials. They also sell wine by glass or bottle.
Best pizza in San Antonio. Need to try Stromboli sometime.

Great pizza. Quality ingredients. The cheese was the best part. If you love cheese on pizza this is the place to go!

I spent $63 and it wasn't worth it. The pizza was totally burnt!! It crunched like chips. The chicken wings tasted like store bought, frozen section wings that were microwaved. My meatball sandwich was DROWNED in marinara sauce, causing the bread to fall apart, and the Calzone was not fully cooked. I honestly just want my money refunded. That's too much money to spend on a pizza place and not be satisfied or full.

First off I love Rome's Pizza but this review is for their take out. I ordered lunch to go. Paid by card including a charge for cutlery and left a tip. Arrived and was told to wait. Eventually they seemed to have forgotten about me because when I realized that my food was sitting on top of the oven waiting i approachedthe counter . If I hadn't said something, I would still be waiting.
I know that they are understaffed but would it be possible for the cook to communicate with the register? "Order Up!"
I don't need the excuses. This is the second time in a row that this has happened to me.
By the way. We didn't get our cutlery.
I'm going to keep coming because, as I said. I love Rome's but next time I order to go I will bring cash for the tip.

Their pizza is always good. I like to have them add extra sauce~so good. The staff is friendly, sand the restaurant is clean. I always enjoy visiting, whether we eat in or eat out. Now it's time to slip into a food coma. ????

I loved their Chicken Piccata Pizza. They should have better service, as well as table service. I think they would have more business.
Plus food servers should smile make people feel welcome, since they don't have table service.

Rome pizza was a restaurant I went to when I lived in San antonio 25yrs ago. My wife and I revisted last night and was definitely a great pizza and very clean. I missed Gus the owner, just wanted to say thanks for the great food and memories. George

greek salad has lettuce, tomatoes, feta, black olives. Ask for klamata olives.
Rome's calzone was properly baked. Enjoyed it immensely.

First time trying Rome’s pizza... I ordered at 8:30pm, when I picked up my pizza and opened it up once I made it home I was highly disappointed. Seems like it was not freshly made, tasted old and there was no sign of a cheese pull or crust. Very dry and stale. Kinda disgusted :( very sad that I wasted my money on a Saturday day night.... on a positive note tiramisu cake was tasty and so was the Greek salad..
