Very beautiful texmex restaurant in San Antonio located close to 1604. My suggestion is trying the steak fajitas and some of their seafood dishes, it has a beautiful setting and has a very nice appeal. I also had tried their shrimp quesadilla and shrimp tacos along with the refried beans and rice. I also suggest the queso and guacamole when you order the chips but do not overindulge as the servings are very well amplified leaving you full before dessert.
Very courteous service, went around 11:30am, had lunch with 2 other people, they had the cheese enchilada plate and I had a fajita salad. The people I was with gave the plates 4 stars, I gave my salad 2 stars cause the lettuce wasn't fresh and the meat didn't taste so good. I've eaten her before and I would recommend the carne guisada plate or fish tacos.

We ordered the tortilla soup, seafood chili relleno and combo fajitas. All were amazing I didn't care for the salsa, but the flour tortillas were the best. Our waitress Alejandra was fantastic. Highly recommend asking for her.

Great restaurant! We used to come here at least once a week before we moved out of town. Was pleasantly surprised that the flavors were just as good as we remembered them. Special #1 for me, beef fajitas for two for my wife and daughter. Everything was great. Salsa was smooth and had a satisfying kick. Queso was creamy and tasted of liquid gold. Lol. All in all a great experience!

We only get to eat at Salsalitos when we come to San Antonio. Sadly, the location near my sister was closed several years ago. We made the journey to this location and it was well worth the drive!! Wonderful food and service!! Large beautiful building with plenty of parking. Will definately be back when in the area!!

Salsalitos Cantina Mexican Restaurant is aver nice place to visit for a great meal. We visited for a family celebration and had a great time. The food quick and hot as well as a good price. I had a Chicken Chimichanga, it was a nice portion and great tasting. This is a place that we will be returning to time and time again.

Food was good, prices were fair. Our waiter at the bar was helpful in ordering. We were split between items, and he custom ordered plates for us. Mine was the choice between cheese and chicken mole enchiladas. He ordered me a #1 special plate with 1 cheese and 1 mole enchilada, a tamale and a crispy beef taco. My friends was debating trying the bacon wrapped shrimp, so he added 2 of them as a side. I suggested to my friend the tortilla soup as well, which many have reviewed and commented was very good, he agreed with the reviews.
The chicken mole enchiladas were on the sweeter side compared to the dozens of places I've had them before, not the sweetest I've had, but pretty up there. The shredded chicken inside them however was a bit lacking flavor wise. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were spicy and unless you love heat, a full order is probably impossible to eat on your own as an appetizer.
I've eaten here before, but it had been several years since my last visit, decided to give it another go, since San Antonio is full of Mexican restaurants. Overall not a bad experience, I would go back to try some more items.

Salsalitos is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Great food and quick service. The prices aren’t bad and the staff is friendly. Not super fancy but definitely a step up when compared to the hole-in-the wall Mexican restaurants. Great place for a family dinner, a date or to hit the bar and grab a quick bite to eat. Highly recommend
