I got the two meat plate with mac & cheese and potato chips. I requested lean brisket and turkey. They were able to give me lean brisket, but was told that they were out of turkey (at that point it was around 7:30 pm). I was offered other meat choices to get instead of the turkey, and I chose the jalapeño sausage. I would highly recommend you trying it, it may have even been better than the turkey I ordered.
Now I’m rating this five stars, because the experience tonight was five stars. In the past however, the employees at the front had been less than ideal with customer service. Never rude, but flat. For someone who works part-time and hourly in the service industry, I understand it’s not always exciting or fun, but it’s nice when someone takes pride in their work and has hospitality for the customer. This time, everything was easy, nothing was forgotten in the bag, and the young lady who helped me had great customer service. The food was hot, it was on time and I really wouldn’t change anything with this experience.

Friendly staff and lots of seats..Tried Brisket fatty nice bark good .St l ribs clean bite smokey very good.Turkey tender wanted more rub on it good.Sides potatoes n green beans very simple very lite season ,cream corn odd or unique but good rue ? like a cheese sauce not sweet or salty just different .the bbq sauce its ok.

Awesome business and even better employees. We live out of town and ordered Smokey’s from the grub hub app for close family friends that had just lost a loved one in their family. We ran into issues with grub hub and our order eventually got cancelled after three pushed back delivery times . It took some time and we had to reorder through Smokey’s. The process went seamlessly online and when I called the store to verify the order, I was greeted with a very professional staff member. I was also contacted by a District Manager and had an awesome experience. Thank you Chad and to the staff of the Bulverde Road location. And next time we are in town, we are definitely customers!!

Oh my....the big mo burger with double marbled brisket is AWESOME!!!! It really can turn around a bit so cool day to an awesome day but beware...after this meal you may feel a little sleepy. ????

Smokey Mo's has a solid reputation for BBQ in our area. They are pretty consistent from location to location. Most of my experiences have been great. Simply due to the nature of meats, sometimes it's more tender or more flavorful than other times. They do a great job of overcoming these obstacles. I recommend them anytime you want good BBQ!

Needed to cater a b-day party with 30 people attending... great decision to have Smokey Mo's Brisket & Smoked Turkey as the mains! The meats were excellent, carved & packed with care & pride of the food they prepared! Juicy, tender & delicious - Everyone raved about the quality & taste!

We came in to smokey Moe's About 40 minutes before closing. The food is outstanding the brisket very lean and the service was great. This is just a snapshot I'm sure but but I'll be coming back with my wife. She loves the banana pudding here. Ask for Alfred by name!

Fantastic catering service from start to finish for 45 of us for lunch. Ample amounts of food, all the sides and utensils we needed. Dan and his crew did an outstanding job. Arrived right on time with all the right stuff! In the past we've always had a complaint of some sort something got forgotten. But this time the experience was beyond our expectations. Thanks so much we'll be back again soon. Neal

Amazing Service! Friendly and very welcoming! The food was as PHENOMENAL as the service! Latanya was WONDERFUL!!! The Who staff is doing great! COME TO THIS LOCATION OUT OF ALL THE OTHERS! The managers were so nice and knowledgeable as well! Great job Smokey mo’s!
