Very good, true southern Texas bbq. I always get the marbled brisket. Great crust. With brisket all you need is salt and pepper which they have. Bit more pricey, but worth it.

Overall, pretty good spot. Hole in the wall feel, with small and simple menu, but very delicious. It is pricey, especially for the brisket, but unfortunately it’s not much different than elsewhere.
The pulled pork tacos were very good! They had plenty of meat, which was juicy and tender. The tortillas are made fresh in house, and you can taste the difference. They were topped with cheese and a great sauce.
The quarter chicken was really good, especially for only $3,50. Simple but done great.
Overall, a great local BBQ with great offerings. I’ll come back one day for the brisket and see if it lives up to the price.

We finally had a chance to eat here and it was great! We had the brisket sandwich with chips. The meat was very tender and juicy. The potato was excellent as well. The meat doesn’t need bbq sauce but they give you some and that is great as well! We will be back again! We have to make sure to come before they sell out. It’s a great place to come after a bike ride or round of golf at Riverside course.

Food was good, especially the brisket. But they don't have a public bathroom. Frustrating to spend $40 on lunch and not be able to wash your hands or use the restroom.

I had a coupon and BBQ is always a good choice for dinner so we tried it.
We ordered the brisket plate. It was a nice variety of meats. The two ribs were solid, like smoked jerky. Not chewy but a tiny bit dry. They were better with some extra sauce.
The smoked chicken was enjoyable but not rave worthy. My friend's first comment was that his is better.

My husband and I visited the location on mission rd on 7/28/22. We ordered the brisket with two sides, (creamed corn and borracho beans). The brisket was flavorful and tender. The portions were generous. The food is amazing!! We will be back.

Hands down BEST bbq in SA ????
The brisket is perfection and absolutely doesn't *need* any sauce, condiment, or side to hold it up, but all of those things are delicious in their own rights too.
The elote tends to be wicked spicy, but that tater tot casserole is magic.
Don't sleep on the pickles - delish!

The brisket was phenomenal! It did not need any sauce and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I was with a group of 8 and everyone was raving about their food.
You cannot go in anywhere, you order at a little window on the side of the door and sit outside. They do have cover with fans and the we got lucky with great weather! They sell out of things daily, highly recommend!

Man....this place is stellar. Brisket amazing. The BBQ sauce is life changing. The tater tot casserole was as good as other reviews. But these dang beans are on of the best things ever!

Great bark on the brisket..the loaded tatertot Casserole is a change from other places. Great flavors on all the food. Worth the drive. Nice covered patio seating area with 2 large TV. Brisket plate below.
