I have tried captain jack burger. It is delicious and spicy. Sweet potato fries are ok. They have a lot of vegan options and i really appreciate for innovating in the vegetarian/ vegan space.
Restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating with live music. Ambience is pretty good. Even though there are a lot of people, service is very fast.

Few areas to choose to hang or eat. both in and out door seating. Both in and out door bar. Live music, and both traditional and vegan menus.
We've been back a few times for the Vegan Super Nachos and fish tacos. Times are tight so we don't get to drop by as often as we'd like but when we need to get out after a long day at work The Cove is a nice place to relax and unwind.

This place is Awesome. They are known for there fish ???? tacos. They do serve alcohol at this establishment. Outside play area for kids, and dog friendly ????. You order and they bring you the food. Talk about serves. They burgers we ordered ???? ???? were so delicious. I definitely recommend and I'll be making more stops to this place.

My word. It is so incredibly wonderful to show about a restaurant and known and the practically everything on the menu matches your criteria for food. Actual grass fed, grass finished meat, several options for bun, gluten-free, bun less, great kid options, absolutely wonderful side salads which were quite frankly large enough to be an entrée and then surprisingly there’s a really great zucchini sign that I absolutely must get the recipe for. We had several people in our party, and being our first time, it took a bit of time to get everything ordered and the girl taking her order was helpful and patient.
We 200% enjoyed our meal here and would definitely come back if we are back in the area.

WOW! What a hidden gem! In town for a bit and needed to do laundry...what better way than with delicious food and a cold beer? Laundry facilities are clean and plentiful, with detergent and whatnot for purchase.
The food is AMAZING and most surprisingly the soda is delish. We had the chips and homemade salsa, shrimp taco, bison burger and gouda burger. All were fantastic. Options to eat inside or outside, playground for the kiddos.

No dog park anymore. Playground was in good shape. Cashier was frustrating. Completely unhelpful for several orders. Unwilling to make changes to accommodate an order with dietary restrictions. And on a Saturday night at 9pm they say they’re out of nachos? Because they don’t have chips. So we order hummus and chips and they have them. The nacho chips are thicker but the employee didn’t even bother to try and do the nachos with the same tortilla shops they use for hummus. Our first order of nachos had 13 total chips on the plate so I can understand why they would prefer the chips be thick. But just use the regular tortilla chips and use a little more. Easy fix. And they said they didn’t have any type of white bread, just while wheat or gluten free. But our daughter’s grilled cheese came on a white bun. Really?! LoL. The parking was as bad as it’s ever been. And we had to stand around awhile before a table became available. But the bar and playground were good. And the patrons were nice to our dog.

One of my all-time favorite places. They recently updated their menu but I'm glad they didn't change my favorite items. Yes they have great burgers but that's not even my favorite about this place.
The playground in shade is what brought me here originally many years ago. There extensive beers on tap and great food is what keeps me here.
The nachos and fries are bussin' my favorite for sure.
If you never been here. You got to try for yourself.

Where do we start!!? Amazing live music, epic ambience and vivid collection for tap beer and food options ...
We tried the jackfruit burger and the sampler tacos and these were very tasty. Highly recommend the food and the beer collection.
This is a go to place for a nice weekend social !

If you have kiddos that love to play outside while you eat and socialize with friends or family, this is the place to go. Whenever we have friends come into town this is the place we come to. They have great food, you can bring your four legged kids and even have live music (pre COVID).

The Cove has become a San Antonio staple, with something for everyone. The only bad thing here is the parking.
The quirky menu definitely leans to healthy and vegetarian options but carnivores will find plenty to please their palates.
Their bar and beer menu are impressive, as is their playground! Parents of human and canine children alike will be pleased with the open seating and laid-back dining. Prices are also family-budget friendly.
